3 Sacred Heart Live Auc on Supporters The annual Church Picnic will be held May 20th, 2018 and the me is approaching fast. The Auc on Commi ee is asking for your support as we gather to share fellowship and friendship as parishioners of our Sacred Heart Church Family. At the same me, we will be raising May 20 money to be used for the New Parish Hall. We are accep ng tax-deduc ble dona ons in the form of a New Live Auc on Item or a Monetary Contribu on to be used to purchase items for the Auc on. You may make your monetary dona ons in the marked envelope which can be found by the entrances to the Church. Then place it in the collec on basket or call one of the Auc on Chairpersons. Please try to make these dona ons as soon as possible so we have enough me to go out and buy items or have them made. Please specify on you contribu on envelope if you want an item bought and adver sed in your name or if you want your dona on to be anonymous. Please make your monetary dona ons by April 14th. As for new items, we are asking for out-of-the ordinary unique items, homemade items, home grown items, cra y items, garden/pa o items, metal art, or collec bles. Perhaps you have access to airline ckets, fishing/hun ng trips, hotel accommoda ons, dinner par es, or ckets to nearby theme parks. We will not be accep ng Garage Sale type items or Used items. Please check with an Auc on Commi ee chairperson if you need ideas or have any ques ons. If you are interested in dona ng an item, please call one of the Auc on Chairpersons or visit with us a er Church. Items can be dropped off at the Church office or we can make arrangements with you. We are asking that items please be turned in by May 6th. We understand that if you are making an item, it may not be done by this date, but s ll let us know so we can plan for it in our paperwork. It is important that we receive items early or know about them if we want to con nue to provide an item list for the buyers. It is also very helpful to have the items displayed and tagged as the buyers come to browse before the Auc on begins. Your con nued support is dearly needed and greatly appreciated! The children are working hard to be the class that brings in the most money. Fi h Grade Mass The students in Mrs. Harrison s 5 th grade class a ended Mass with Archbishop Gustavo in San Antonio at St. Rose of Lima Church this week.
