Manning s blog, and share the link on YouTube. Hospitality Sunday Join us next Sunday, May 20, following the 10:30 Mass, for Hospitality Sunday in the St. Joseph s Room. Save a Life - Reverse A Drug Overdose Thanks to quick action by medical professionals and lawmakers, including the Surgeon General of the United States, each of us now has the power to administer an effective drug against opioid overdose, quickly, safely and with legal protection under the Good Samaritan Laws in New Jersey. The drug, Narcan (naloxone) can be had without a prescription in New Jersey and used whenever circumstances dictate. We are in the grip of an opioid epidemic and while the ultimate resolution of the problem is elusive, preventing overdose deaths, including accidental ones, is simple. Holy Cross Church will sponsor an information evening and training session in cooperation with the Rumson Police Department on Tuesday, May 22 nd, at 7:00 PM, in the St. Joseph Room of the Church. Overdoses are tragic. Let's help someone get a another chance.
3 May 13, 2018 Page 3 #623 Prayer for Mothers Lord we pray in gratitude for our mothers and for all who have joined with you in the wonder of bringing forth new life. Grant to all mothers the courage they need to face the uncertain future that life with children always brings. Give them the strength to love and to be loved in return, not perfectly, but humanly. Give them the faithful support of husband, family and friends as they care for the physical and spiritual growth of their children. Give them joy and delight in their children to sustain them through the trials of motherhood. Most of all, give them the wisdom to turn to you for help when they need it most. Amen.
