14 Holy Trinity Library Happy Fall! We hope many of you will visit our library to browse our extensive collection and to borrow a book or two. In our adult section, we have 46 different categories of books, which focus primarily on Orthodoxy and our Greek heritage. This month we would like to highlight two of these categories. In Orthodox Living and Spirituality, you will find spiritual classics such as The Way of a Pilgrim, The Philokalia, and The Inner Kingdom. Other books in this category cover topics such as the Jesus Prayer, the Desert Fathers, and Orthodox parenting. In the Fiction category, you will find such well-known titles as Corelli s Mandolin, Gates of Fire, and Middlesex. The library is open after church every Sunday and by appointment during the week. The PTA s role is to enhance and support the Greek School s mission through volunteering and fundraising events. 23 Dear Parents, We are so happy to again offer you and your child(ren) Holy Trinity s great Mommy & Me Musical Program. Every week our wonderful teacher, Susan Davis, has brought singing and dancing to the youngest children of Holy Trinity Church for the past 20 years. The program begins in September, runs through the end of June and is open to all Holy Trinity members. This year we will have class directly following Liturgy on Sundays, beginning at 12pm. The fee is $200 per family and includes 2 CD/songbook sets containing the music for the program, as well as, a fee to the church to partially offset the cost of the program. Susan Davis offers this very same music program ( Shake, Rattle & Roll ) to the general public costing over $400 for 14 weeks for 1 child- as you can see, our Mommy & Me is a great DEAL as the $200 fee is for the entire year, for your whole family! Mommy & Me participants range in age from newborns through kindergarten. Parents, caregivers, grandparents, and even godparents, are welcome to bring their little ones. It is a great way to make new friends, enjoy our time with other Holy Trinity families and introduce your child to the joy of music. We also have parties to celebrate the Holidays! Mommy & Me lasts 45 minutes and includes singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, meeting new friends.
