4 Beginning Easter Sunday and continuing for 12 weeks, the TV mini-series A.D. picks up where The Bible left off, exploring the inspiring events that followed the crucifixion of Christ. The crucifixion was only the beginning of the story. The immediate aftermath of Christ s death had a massive impact on His disciples, His mother Mary, and key political & religious leaders of the era. Watch as the disciples struggle to survive & share their beliefs, guiding us from the sorrow of Christ s ultimate sacrifice to the awe-inspiring wonder of the Resurrection and beyond. From Roma Downey & Mark Burnett comes this spiritual journey through the later chapters of biblical history. Dr. David Jeremiah will teach the scripture behind each episode on the Daystar Channel at 5:30pm each Sunday. A total of 67 bags of food were taken to the Food Pantry in March. Thank you for your generosity! This is an updated list of Food Items MOST NEEDED: pancake mixes & syrup; dried grains, potatoes, rice & pasta; pasta sauce; dry breakfast cereal (hot & cold); canned pasta, vegetables, fruits, juices; peanut butter & jelly; instant pudding mixes/jell-o; boxed meals; canned meats, tuna, chicken; canned and dry soups; coffee, tea & hot chocolate; personal care items. 9 PARISH FAMILY NEWS Thank you St. Bart s Anglican Church, and Blessings. My love and appreciation extends to all the staff and parish members whom graciously helped my family and I through difficult times. In horrible snowstorms and frigid temperatures my friends were with me. Words cannot express enough how appreciative I am of the support received. Thank you for all the delicious meals, the companionship, the cards and kind words. My appreciation for those who tidied up our home to make it shine again. All the visits to the hospital helped ease the long hours of loneliness and pain. Truly we are blessed to call St. Bart s our home. The presence of prayer received while in the hospital was heartfelt. The Lord strengthens us through faith and prayer and endearing church family. I thank God for all of you and our St. Bart s church. Through sickness the Lord surrounds you with amazing people who touch your lives forever. God bless, with love, Danielle Hyland and family 9
10 NORTHTOWN PREGNANCY CENTER BABY SHOWER The first Baby Shower we held for the Northtown Pregnancy Center was a HUGE success. Approximately 30 women attended, and many more dropped off gifts during the week. Thank you to all who helped and supported this very worthwhile cause. Many will be blessed because of you. 10
11 MANY, MANY wonderful gifts were donated. Lou Anne Soto, one of the Directors of NPC, spoke to us about the center, its mission and its goals. She was amazed by the generosity of our church. I think everybody had a great time!! 11
