Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Big Flats, NY Service Schedule April 1: Easter Music Program with Pianist Tim Best - Service Leader: Ron Telford April 8: Sacred Storytelling, with Kirk House, Director of the Steuben County Historical Society. We can listen intently to a sermon, or a lecture, or a political speech. But come back a month later, and mostly what we'll remember is the story the speaker told. From Zen to Muhammad, from Jesus to Moses to the Ball Shem Tov, stories shine their light onto our paths and into our hearts. There's even an old saying that "God created the world because he likes stories." And so do we. Is our value earned by what we do or accomplish, or do we have some worth simply by being alive?

3 Memorial for Doug Wilson Saturday, May 5, 2018 Big Flats Community Center 476 Maple St Big Flats, NY p-4p will include a pot luck luncheon. Rev. Darcey Laine will preside. (Jackie is asking for a dish to pass. Please bring it to the Center before 1pm. If you cannot attend but would like to send a dish, please bring to the UUFBF before Saturday.)

Thomas Jefferson Qur an by Denise A. Spellberg Websites: Samson Telford and his family would like to thank the Fellowship for contributing to Sam s fundraising for St. Baldrick s this year. He was able to donate a little over $200 toward Childhood Cancer Research. Thank you! Elmira Small Group Ministry meets the third Wednesday of every month from 7-9pm at Alta Stevenson's lovely Victorian home on the corner of Euclid Avenue & 3rd Street. Alta provides snacks, but anyone attending is encouraged to bring a munchie. Leslie Potter usually leads the discussion. ALL ARE WELCOME!
