Enjoy and evening out while the kids are here at Sparta United Methodist Church learning, making crafts and enjoying fellowship with their friends. Baby Bottle Campaign Please support the Alleghany County Pregnancy Center Baby bottles will be available today Please fill them with your donations and return them to the church by Fathers Day June 17. RELAY FOR LIFE TEAM We are partnering with First Citizens Bank this year as a team! Contact Nikki Wilborn at or by at nikki.wilborn@firstcitizens.com if you can help! Buy tickets for $9.95 to have you family portrait taken in June Donate items for benefit yard sale by June 1 Drop off any items at the church office Volunteers Needed We need Safe Sanctuary volunteers to help with Youth Group on Sunday afternoons from 4-5 p.m. This person does not have to plan a program. We also would like for volunteers to bring a snack for youth group. The snack would be for youths. Please see Talina Pipes if you can help in any way. Our Congregation has been asked for volunteers by our local Nursing Home, Genesis Health Care Alleghany Center to take turns each Sunday at 9am to read scriptures or sing hymns to residents in the Dining Room, or any other forms of Worship. Please call Angela, activities Coordinator at to get started. The church needs a person to volunteer as Communications Coordinator. We need someone who can provide updated information to the church website, maintain the newspaper ad, provide meeting information, church activities and happenings to the Sunday bulletins and monthly newsletter and to the newspaper.
