As I am able, I submit my hopes to you: hopes for health and well-being, for justice and mercy, for freedom from fear and anxiety. Oh God, help me dwell in the knowledge that you are with me in loss and in hope, and on earth and in heaven. I await your kingdom, where losses and hopes become joys and certainty. Amen. Special Invitation - The Mission Committee invites you to save Monday, November 20, 2017 for a special presentation by Desiree Segura-April, the Resource Person for Children-at- Risk-Ministries, for Iglesia Evangelica Metodista de Nicaragua, Her husband, Osias, serves as the Regional Coordinator of Curriculum and Small Group Leadership Development for Nicaragua, Honduras and Guatemala. They live in Nicaragua with their son, Nikko. The Iglesia Metodista de Nicaragua is comprised of twenty small churches located mainly around the capitol city of Managua in poor neighborhoods. Global Ministries missionaries have served for decades in Nicaragua as leaders for development projects, but they are the first missionaries sent to work directly with the church in congregational and leadership development, focusing on children-at-risk- ministries and small group leadership development. The challenges are many since poverty deeply affects the people, and Nicaragua is the second poorest country in Latin America. The Segura-Aprils have an exciting, interesting story to share with you and others. There will be a lunch and plenty of time to ask questions after the presentation. STEPHEN MINISTRY I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
