As you re-discover your summer treasures, we invite you to check to see if you have items to share. Please sign the donation list on the Place of Welcome Front Door to indicate availability. Items can be brought to the church at any time. Upcoming events: 1. Let-Us Eat Salad Supper: Tuesday, June 5 th at 6:00 PM in the Fireside Lounge. CLWR Packing Day: Tuesday, June 19 th, time TBA. 3. No Bake Sale. Donate money instead of prepare something and/or buying baked goods. Money collected will support several worthwhile causes within and outside the church. Please make cheques payable to Redeemer Lutheran Church and indicate your donation is for Women s Ministry No Bake Sale. 4. Quilt display and blessing, Sunday, June 17 th Bible Study for the month of June (from Gather June 2018 magazine p.20): Let Us Pray. The Paradoxes of Prayer. Life-threatening illness may shuffle our values like a deck of cards. Sometimes a card that has been on the bottom of the deck for most of our lives turns out to be the top card, the thing that really matters. Having watched people sort their cards and play their hands in the presence of death for many years, I would say that rarely is the top card perfection, or possessions, or even pride.
