1 Georgia District UPCI Foreign Mission s Russell Snyder - Director Cleveland Rd. Cohutta, GA pastorsnyder@windstream.net 2015 Schedule of Missionaries Pastors, Isaiah said, Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass. (Isa 32:20) Missionaries help us to do that better than anyone else. In fact they are the ox and the ass carrying the weight of the gospel to the world. We send them They go. As part of a question, Paul said, I have preached to you the gospel of God freely? I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service. And when I was present with you, that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: (2Co 11:7-9) We are so thankful for the missionaries who freely brought the message to us. Our goal is to enlarge them so that they can continue to freely take the message to others also. We will pursue it until every country has a witness. Georgia has excelled in this and continues to grow in the ability to send more and more. Consider: Whatever your goals for a service or special program through the year are a Global Mission s missionary, a proven hero, can help you make it a big deal and add impact for the cause. Please consider the following options: SERVICE: Have the missionary for a church service. Take care of their lodging and a meal and give them an offering. MISSIONARY FELLOWSHIP: On an off night, have the church families bring finger foods and have fellowship with the missionary and his family. Let the missionary give his presentation and talk for a little bit. Then have a question and answer time. This gives the missionary and the people an opportunity for a connection and an impact for vision. Take care of their lodging and give them an offering. This counts as a service. HOSTING: On an off night, have a time of fellowship with the missionary (a meal in your home or at a restaurant). This gives you an opportunity to get to know them and share vision together concerning the Kingdom of God. You also take care of their lodging and give them an offering. This counts as a service. OFFERING: You will simply send an offering to the Missionary. The missionary is not required to travel to you. When possible, you could also provide lodging and a meal. This will help the Missionary financially, and count as a service. SPONSER A SERVICE: Sponsor a pastor/church to have a missionary service by giving the offering. PIM COMMITMENT: Make a PIM commitment even when other options will not work. FAITH PROMISE: An excellent way to fund your giving. MISSION S CONFERENCE: Builds excitement for world vision. I AM GLOBAL OFFERING: This sends missionaries back faster It taking deputation expense money and makes it ministry money. It also cuts the deputation time way down Georgia the State missionaries love to come to. 1
