2 SHARING THE GOOD NEWS Calvary Church s mission is to learn, live and share the good news of Jesus. Jesus calls His followers to be committed to the sharing of His good news in their own community, as well as throughout the world (Matt. 24:14; Luke 24:47). To this end we provide monthly financial support to the following missionaries and ministry organizations. We encourage all of those who call Calvary Church home to give generously, as God enables, to our missions fund so we can help many more missionaries share the good news of Jesus to the whole world. DOUG BALDWIN Ecuador Doug and Carol are pastoring the largest evangelical church in El Oro, Ecuador. They use Global University to equip and train new leaders to reach their communities with the Good News of Jesus. They are also involved in launching the Ursesa Children Center in a very poor sector of the city of Machala. dougandcarolbaldwin.com KEVIN BARNER Russia Kevin and Sandy s new assignment will be serving as area pastors for other Assemblies of God missionaries in countries that used to be part of the Soviet Union. They will also serve as members of a church-planting team as they endeavor to reach more of the 63 million people living in Armenia, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, and Ukraine.

3 JOSEPH BARRALE United States Joe and Heidi are Home Missionaries who help churches start church-based student and young adult ministries. Adopt-A-Campus is one of the tools they use to equip local churches to take responsibility for the spiritual well being of young adults and college students in their communities. joeandheidi.com OMAR BEILER Eurasia As Regional Director in Eurasia, Omar gives direction and oversight to nearly 447 missionaries and missionary associates serving in 43 countries stretching from North Africa to eastern Russia. His passion is to plant the church and establish a strong gospel witness among the 4,000 unreached and neglected people groups across Eurasia. agwm.com/eurasia BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY (ED FERGUSON) United States Ed and Faith Ferguson have a calling to work with veterans, especially the wounded, and their families. They strive to do this by helping veterans make meaningful connections in the local churches and communities. They also raise awareness of the needs of these military families with local pastors and other significant contacts. beyondthecallofduty.net

4 JOANN BUTRIN Worldwide Joann is the director of International Medical Ministries (IM) of Assemblies of God World Missions. She oversees sixteen multi-faceted ministries that have a footprint in every region of the world. She founded and directs the Global AIDS Partnership, and directs Nurture Hope, an effort to network those who work to combat human trafficking. joannbutrin.com JOHN BUTRIN Germany John and Gayle lead a non-traditional church in Berlin. They minister to people through meals, hospitality and friendship. This unique outreach shares the love of God with many Berliners and expatriates who would otherwise never have an opportunity to hear of and experience God s love. matthewstable.org MIRCEA DASCALESCU Romania Mircea and Ana are itinerating and raising their support for a new term. Their vision is to establish a ministry center in the city of Baneasa in order to reach the surrounding villages with the Gospel. Together with the national leaders, their goal is to plant forty-four new churches in the next decade. They will also continue to invest in training Romanian missionaries through the School of Missions. europemissions.org

5 KEN FERGUSON Worldwide Ken and Kathy work with the Continental Theological Seminary Center for Ministry to Muslims (CMM). They go to Bible schools, seminaries and churches in U.S. and throughout the world. They recently participated in a fund raiser that raised enough money to plant more than 100 churches in Nigeria and Tanzania. internationalministries-agwm.org JACOB S HOPE Worldwide This outreach to Jewish people was started in 2009 by Jeff & Vixie Friedman (Penn Del) who have since retired. It now consists of four current teams who are working around the world to bring hope to Jewish people through compassionate aid and sharing the Good News. jacobshope.com FRED KOVACH Global University Fred and Crystal serve as media missionaries with Global University, working world wide to provide technology tools to reach local communities with the Gospel. They also travel overseas to provide technical support to missionary television studios. 6 BETTINA WEAVER Myanmar Bettina is serving with Our Father s House. This ministry is currently working in three locations: Women of Vision Girl s Home, Young Sunrise Boy s Home, and Our Father s House Children s Home. facebook.com/ourfathershouseministry DAVID OLSON Ecuador David and Celia s ministry has taken a very special focus on combining technology and education. They are using the Internet to bring discipleship resources and Bible school training to believers through iclassrooms. This online cooperative provides courses in undergraduate and graduate levels. world.ag.org/missionary/ olson-david-celia AL PERNA Italy Al and Emanuela are Assemblies of God missionaries who transferred to Italy to serve in national Italian and English speaking international churches assisting young pastors, conducting seminars, and training workers. They will also minister in Italian churches for immigrant workers and their families in central and northern Europe.

7 KIRBY RIALS Belgium Kirby and Sheila are working to plant four churches in French-speaking Belgium. They have helped plant one church in Arlon and are working to plant another in Bastogne. Their goal is always to turn over the churches to Belgian leadership as soon as possible. rials.org DAVID ROBB Deaf Missions David and Barbara launched Philly Deaf Church in 1995 as an outreach to the deaf community in Philadelphia. The church is hosted by Calvary Temple and currently has several dozen members. goingdeaf.org ROBERT ROSE Italy Dr. Robert and Lynne Rose are missionaries in Italy and have served for over 25 years with Assemblies of God World Missions. In 2010, Bob and Lynne planted a church, International Church of Rome, in downtown Rome across from the largest university in Europe. Bob is Global University s Regional Director for Europe and Director of Global University (English-speaking) for Italy.

8 JAMES SABELLA Czech Republic James and Sherry are the Area Directors for Assemblies of God Missions in Central Europe. They oversee more than 100 Missionaries and Missionary Associates that make up the Central- Southeast Europe missionary team. europemissions.org TONY SABASTIAN Greece Tony, Jamie and their family moved to Thessaloniki, Greece in 2008, and have pioneered something unique to the region. Their focus is on Business as Mission, church planting, university ministry, and social justice campaigns. becominggreek.com ARTHUR STONEKING Mexico Art and Joyce opened a children s home in Tijuana in A Boys Home and school in the city of Mexicali followed in They have also had the opportunity to help in the construction of new churches throughout the Baja Peninsula. artstoneking.com

9 ARLENE STUBBS India Arlene is the Sr. Pastor of New Life AG in Secunderabad, India which now has over 6000 members. Catering to the Englishspeaking Christians of the cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, the church has also struck original ground in winning many new converts to Christianity. newlifeag.in JOHNNY VELAZQUEZ Belgium Johnny serves as the Office Manage and Field Office Manager for Convoy of Hope in Europe. 10 EL RANCHO DEL RAY Monterrey, Mexico This Christian boarding school for at-risk boys was founded in 1954 by Dave Watson s aunt, Anne Moller, and her husband, Hank.
