He showed a brief video which showed PWC being presented with the NC811 Safe Digging Partner of the Month Award. Rick Davis and Kenny Hart received the award on behalf of PWC. Frequently asked question of the month: When calling in a ticket for an intersection, how many streets can be included? The answer was Two; but the total distance to be located cannot exceed 1325 feet which is ¼ mile. 2 Bill Hammond went over the DOT Project Status Report which I have attached. Kenny Hart with PWC Water Resource Construction introduced the new Water Resource Construction Operations Manager, Chris Rainey. PWC continues work on Winslow Street which will continue through the Christmas Holiday. Kenny and Chris also stated that the project on Rowan Street and Green Street is wrapping up for the holidays. Hector Cruz with the Town of Hope Mills Public Works stated the Safe Route to School sidewalk project has been assigned to McGill and Associates. He also stated that Lowe s Home Improvement will be presenting a site plan to build in Hope Mills next to Walmart. Everyone wished David Vencill a happy retirement. The next Cumberland County Utilities Coordinating meeting will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2015.
