1 The Call Sermon Title and Scriptures December 25, 2016 Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols Sermon Title and Scriptures January 1, 2016 No Day But Today 1 Corinthians 13 Romans 12:9-21 On behalf of all of us here at Central Christian Church we would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas, and all of the blessings of Gods love as you set out to do His work in 2017 We know many of you will be away for Christmas, but if you re in town we d love to see you... Christmas Eve Candlelight Service Dec 24 at 6:00 pm Christmas Day Service Dec 25 at 9:30 am Crosslines Report for December, 2016 On December 13, food was distributed by volunteers from Central and St. John s Chapel to 110 families representing 255 individuals. This is one of the larger food distributions we have experienced. Thank you to Central members for placing 25 pounds of food in the grocery cart in the church lobby. This food was added to the Crosslines shelves for distribution to needy clients. Looking ahead, we are very grateful to a donor who wishes to remain anonymous who donated $1665 to pay Central s share of the 2017 expense for milk to distribute to Crosslines clients. Central volunteers work on the second Tuesday of each month from about 8:45 am to about 2:00 pm. The duties primarily involve helping clients shop for food items from Crosslines shelves. Anyone that would like to know where they are with their capital or regular giving please call the church office. The children are needing more stories for Worship & Wonder. If you would like to donate one of the stories please see the board on the outside of the Worship & Wonder room or speak with Joyce Thomas. Everyone that makes a donation can get a plaque to go on the chalice board in honor or memory of someone. Thanks for your continued support of the children s ministry.
