1 Central Alabama Emmaus Community the 4th day newsletter February 26, 2017 A MESSAGE FROM WALK #183 LAY DIRECTOR Thinking back since 2008 when I first started my journey on the Walk to Emmaus I was so afraid and nervous. Yet God knew that it was just the beginning of my new life for Him. I have grown through Emmaus and I have found a family that prays for each other like no one else will. To the ladies of Walk 183 Wow I saw you as you came in and the ladies that left that walk were not the same ladies that entered it. God had you there for a reason and I just got to be part of seeing his hands change lives. The Holy Spirit rained down in the conference room and hearts were renewed. It was truly amazing to watch and I received such a blessing from getting to know each of you. A MESSAGE FROM WALK #183 SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR Greetings, Walk 183 was a great Walk. The Ladies from send-off to closing appear to have had a great time. From the time they introduced their 1st.

They were "blown away" (to quote one Pilgrim) by the servers and seeing family and friends coming back to be the "Hands and Feet" for the weekend.

2 A MESSAGE FROM WALK #183 SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR Greetings, Walk 183 was a great Walk. The Ladies from send-off to closing appear to have had a great time. From the time they introduced their 1st. new friend, they started to gel. They were attentive, listening to the talks and taking notes. They were "blown away" (to quote one Pilgrim) by the servers and seeing family and friends coming back to be the "Hands and Feet" for the weekend. They were amazed at the letters sent form the different parts of the world. Realizing how they were prayed over the 72 hour week-end. Several expressed never knowing anyone would care enough to do that. They went into Dying Moments weighted down with the cares of life but left like Isaiah 40:31 says, "they were soaring on Eagles Wings". There were smiles and tears after Candle-Light Friday night and Serenade Saturday Morning. My prayer for them is that they will continue to Walk With God..
