Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we don t even come close. How can we let go of perfectionism and simply appreciate who we are and what we have? Sunday Morning Volunteer Program (MVP) Team Three is handling the duties of greeting, ushering, providing coffee service and clean-up today. Team Three is led by Linda Miltner. 8 Opening Hearts at First Church Book Discussion Please join us for a three-part discussion of the book, White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo. We ll be using a discussion guide written for the Unitarian Universalist Association by Gail Forsyth-Vail, a Credentialed Religious Educator, Master Level, who served congregations for twenty-two years before joining the UUA staff in She is the author of a number of faith development curricula and resources. There are four copies available for loan from the church library. Copies may be purchased through inspirit, Amazon and other retailers. It is also available on Kindle and AudioBook formats and at local libraries. Please contact any member of the Opening Hearts Team (David Johnson, Linnea Lose, Patricia Rohrer or Rev.
