We will be providing a fleishig sandwich lunch. Remember to dress him in a white shirt, warm clothing and non leather shoes for the occasion. There is no need to send extra spending money. There is a $10 transportation fee per child. 10 Dear Parents, I have the privilege of running the Cheder Chabad Boys library. It is a pleasure spending every Wednesday or Thursdays' with your children. The library is a place for students to discover and maintain their love for reading. This is done in a very convenient setting--no driving to libraries--and most importantly, Al Taharas Hakodesh. Baruch Hashem, this year, we have been able to raise some funds to help grow the library. However, keeping up with the students' appetite for books is an ongoing process. With this in mind, We will be having our 3rd annual read-a-thon. We hope all the boys will participate. The-read-a-thon will allow us to boost our book supply as well as repair the torn books. The boys will be asked to find family/ community members to sponsor their reading, donating a stipulated sum for each book they read (or donors can simply give a flat donation). We are turning to you to help us ensure that the process runs smoothly. We have found great prizes for all participants (see attached flier). The read- a- thon will run from Dec 25- Jan 18. All money will be due on Jan 19th. Please encourage your children to get involved and help them participate in the read-a-thon.
