27 READ: EZEKIEL 43:6-7 THE TEMPLE: THE LORD S DWELLING PLACE 6 Then I heard Him speaking to me from the temple, while a man stood beside me. 7 And He said to me, "Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever. No more shall the house of Israel defile My holy name, they nor their kings, by their harlotry or with the carcasses of their kings on their high places.

28 QUESTIONS: EZEKIEL 43:6-7 6 Then I heard Him speaking to me from the temple, while a man stood beside me. 7 And He said to me, Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever. No more shall the house of Israel defile My holy name, they nor their kings, by their harlotry or with the carcasses of their kings on their high places. READ: EZEKIEL 40:3 3 He took me there and behold, there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze. He had a line of flax and a measuring rod in his hand, and he stood in the gateway. NKJV WHO IS THIS PERSON?

45 QUESTIONS: EZEKIEL 43:8 WHAT DID KING AHAZ DO? READ: 2 KINGS 16: Urijah the priest built an altar according to all that King Ahaz had sent from Damascus. Urijah the priest made it before King Ahaz came back from Damascus. 12 When the king came back from Damascus, the king saw the altar; and the king approached the altar and made offerings on it. 13 He burned his burnt offering and his grain offering; and he poured his drink offering and sprinkled the blood of his peace offerings on the altar.

READ: 2 KINGS 16: He brought the bronze altar which was before the LORD, from the front of the temple from between the new altar and the house of the LORD and put it on the north side of the new altar. 15 King Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, On the great new altar burn the morning burnt offering, the evening grain offering, the king's burnt sacrifice, and his grain offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, their grain offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle on it all the blood of the burnt offering and all the blood of the sacrifice. And the bronze altar shall be for me to inquire by. NKJV

47 QUESTIONS: EZEKIEL 43:8 WHAT DID KING MANASSEH DO? READ: 2 KINGS 21:4-7 4 He built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, In Jerusalem I will put My name. 5 He built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD. 6 He made his son pass through the fire, practiced soothsaying, used witchcraft, and consulted spiritists and mediums. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger. 7 He even set a carved image of Asherah that he had made, in the house of which the LORD had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put My name forever; NKJV

READ: 2 CHRONICLES 33: Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. 22 He did evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh had done; for Amon sacrificed to all the carved images which his father Manasseh had made, and served them. 23 He did not humble himself before the LORD, as his father Manasseh had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.
