3 around you at the time. There are times we feel beat down, discouraged and our self-worth is playing sad violin tunes. However God offers us a view of ourselves regardless of what the mirror might say, or what the day is offering. On any given day, and in any set of circumstances, if you can just remember to go to God for His opinion, it will change your view of yourself. In order to gain a true sense of selfworth (not the same as self-esteem), you must understand how God feels about you. Here are some scriptural truths about how God sees us. God loves you preciously in spite of your faults and weaknesses. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Rom. 8: 1-3 God thinks you re worth watching over all the time. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Matt. 10:29-31 He is the caring Father you ve always wanted. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. Jn.1:12 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Rom 8:32 3
