View this in your browser Follow Us on Facebook Visit Our Website MINISTRY UPDATE Family News: Much is happening here in Oxford, England and as many of you have not been receiving our s, we are endeavouring to update you briefly on all that has happened over the past few months. 2 Now that we have Indefinite Leave to Remain, we can apply for our children to become British citizens. They all have the opportunity to be dual citizens which will be a blessing for them. We have applied for and received Micah's citizenship and are awaiting the decision on Eliana's application. Please pray that God would provide the funds needed to apply for Hadley and Titus, and that citizenship would be granted to each of our children. As you can see in the leaflet above, we began the summer with a gospel tent meeting. God has placed this on our heart for years, and it was such a blessing to finally see it happen. Many of the Travellers "pulled on" the field and we had our camper (given to Micah had a wonderful summer and is enjoying getting back into school. He is in first grade and loves history! us by one of the Travellers) right on the field with them! We enjoyed wonderful fellowship throughout the week. There's nothing quite like sitting around a big cast iron pot of stew over an open fire and talking about the Lord! Morning and evening, we held gospel services with wonderful singing and Bible messages. Many of our Crown UK workers were able to preach at these services, as well as myself and some men from our church. The afternoons were spent doorknocking in the neighboring villages. For some, this was their first time doing such a thing! We also provided a children's club during the service where we taught the children about Creation. Overall, God blessed the mission and we were able to see the Hadley is growing fast and will celebrate her 5th birthday this month, God willing! She and Micah have begun violin lessons together and we are praying that God will use this for His honor and glory! tent nearly full of people, both lost and saved. 3 Titus recently turned 3 and he keeps us all laughing! He loves to play with his brothers and sisters and even does "school" with them. The tent set up and further preparations underway before the Gospel Mission. CAMP VICTORY 2016 Eliana celebrated her 1st birthday in August. She is nearly walking and is learning new "words" every day it seems. Her favorites are "uhoh" and "a-men"! Camp Victory is always a highlight of our year and this year was no exception! We welcomed more campers from around England than ever before with 98 campers in the junior week and 65 in the teen week of camp. From our church in Oxford, we were able to take 16 junior campers and 8 teens, some of whom decided to come the day we left for camp! Through the faithful giving of the members of our church, God provided for many of these young people to attend camp at a lower cost and some for free! Throughout the week of camp, juniors and teens were challenged from God's Word as we 'Sailed the Seven C's" of Creation, Carnality, Calvary, Confession, Conversion, Charity, and Consecration. Many professions of faith were made and we trust many lasting decisions to follow Christ. The children enjoyed having Carla Bullington, a fellow graduate of Crown College, stay with us during the

4 summer. Carla helped tremendously in the church as well as with our children, and we miss her terribly! Please pray for her as she seeks the Lord's will for her future. Click here for more exciting updates about what God is doing in the United Kingdom! CAMP VICTORY 2016 SAILING THE SEVEN SEAS Sunday School GROWTH IN THE CHURCH Little Lambs are always fun to teach! A new teacher for the Lights Class! Our most recent baptism service at the River Thames that runs through Oxford. It has been an on-going encouragement to see the work continuing to progress in Oxford. We have seen many professions of faith this past year and several people follow the Lord in believer's baptism. it is wonderful to watch new believers Our Shields Class is growing! growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ! For the time being, we have had to return to our small building in Jericho for weekly services and this has somewhat restricted our growth as a church. Nearly every Sunday we run out of seats and people are forced to stand at the back of the chapel and

5 many times outside the building. This is a great problem to have but we are seeking the Lord continually for His wisdom regarding a larger facility. Some girls from our Teen Bible Class Open Air Outreach George following the Lord in Believer's baptism Open Air Meeting God has continued to bless our weekly open-air outreach as we pass out hundreds of gospel tracts and publicly preach the gospel to thousands each Saturday. Many people from our church are involved in this ministry and regularly see fruit for their labors. Quainton Baptist Chapel Quainton Baptist Chapel Last week we celebrated the 200th anniversary of Quainton Baptist Chapel. You may remember that a couple of years ago, a man approached us about helping their church. At the time, they had three people meeting and were without a pastor. We began sending men to preach, leafleted, held gospel services and helped as much as we could. About a year ago, Jonathan Many watching from the hillside

6 and Lindsay McClure went to help and were able to take things further. God enabled them to begin a Sunday School, a mother and toddler group, and opened the door for them to lead a school assembly each week at the local village school. Just last week they invited all of the children and teachers of the school to the chapel and were able to give a clear gospel presentation! We are thrilled at what God has done and are looking forward to greater things in the future at Quainton Baptist Chapel. Lord willing, in the near future, we will be helping less there as God has provided workers to carry on the ministries that have begun, as well as faithful men who will preach. Please pray for God to provide a pastor to serve full time at this church. Follow Us on Facebook Dan following the Lord in Believer's baptism HOMELESS OUTREACH Visit Our Website Our new catering trailer to minister to the needy. We mentioned in a previous prayer letter that we would like to purchase a catering trailer from which to minister to the ever growing homeless community in Oxford. A few months ago, God led us to a trailer that was for sale just around the corner from the chapel! When the man who was selling the trailer heard that we would be using it to feed the homeless, he dropped his asking price to 900. We were able to purchase this trailer through the giving of people in the church and now every Friday afternoon, several men from the church go out together to feed the homeless and share the glorious life changing message of the gospel. We have seen many of these needy people respond to the gospel and have welcomed several through the doors of our chapel. One man has been faithful for about 6 months now and we have seen the Lord do a great work in his life to deliver him from certain addictions and struggles.

COMMIT THOU TO FAITHFUL MEN The work of Christian ministry always involves teaching and training others the things which we ourselves have learned and are learning. It is particularly of interest to a church planter to find "faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." We believe God is dealing with several people about serving the Lord in Gospel ministry and we are constantly praying that He would send forth labourers into His harvest. At the end of June, God made clear to one of our men, that he should follow the Lord into the ministry. We have been praying much for Johnny and his wife Leanna since he made known his desire and are asking the Lord to confirm in his heart and in the hearts of our church this call. I have begun to work with Johnny one day a week and hope to see him raised up to serve the Lord with all his heart. Johnny and Leanna are one of our Irish Traveller families and it is thrilling to have a man like this answer the call to proclaim the Word of God!

For the first few months of the year, we were able to use a larger building for our services, but are unable to continue holding services there. We have grown during this time, so we now face the issue of having to return to our small chapel with even more people! Please pray that God would lead us to a building that we could purchase if it is His will. "That they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent."
