2 תאור כללי של הקורס: ריקוד היא אחת הפעילויות המוכרת בכל תרבות אנושית. כיוון שהריקוד אינו משאיר עדויות ברורות כמו עשיית כלי צור או בניית בתים, זהו תחום מוזנח במחקר הארכיאולוגי. אנו נסקור וננתח את העדויות האיקונוגרפיות והארכיאולוגיות אודות ריקוד מלפני כ- 40,000 שנה ועד תקופת הברזל. מטרות הקורס: להכיר לסטודנט את הנתונים הקיימים אודות ריקוד בפרהיסטוריה ובתקופות הברונזה והברזל. הקשר בין ריקוד וארגון חברתי. תוצרי למידה בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים: להכיר ולנתח סצינות ריקוד מהפרהיסטוריה ומתקופות הברונזה והברזל. דרישות נוכחות (%): 100 שיטת ההוראה בקורס:הרצאות פרונטליות. הצגת נושא על ידי כל סטודנט. רשימת נושאים / תכנית הלימודים בקורס: - מתודולוגיה של מחקרי ריקוד. ריקוד באמנות הפליאולית באירופה. ריקוד באמנות הפרוטו היסטורית. ריקוד באמנות תקופות הברונזה. ריקוד באמנות תקופת הברזל. ריקוד במסורת המקראית. ארכיאולוגיה של ריקוד. אנתרופולוגיה של ריקוד. חומר חובה לקריאה: Beeman, W.O The Anthropology of Theater and Spectacle.
