2 תאור כללי של הקורס: בקורס זה, הסטודנטים יקראו שירה, סיפורים קצרים ונובלות שנכתבו על ידי סופרים ומשוררים מפורטוגל, ברזיל, אנגולה, מוזמביק, וקייפ-וורד, במאות ה- 20 וה- 21. המקרה היוצא דופן היחידי יהיה זה של המשורר הפורטוגזי,esץCam de Vaz Luiz אשר שירתו האפית adasםlus Os (1572) היא חיונית להבנת התרבות והספרות הפורטוגלית. לימוד הטקסטים הספרותיים ייעשה לאחר מבוא אודות הקונטקסט ההיסטוריה, התרבותי והחברתי של התקופה בה פורסמו היצירות. מטרות הקורס: המטרה העיקרית של הקורס היא להביא את התלמידים לרמה כזו בה יוכלו לקרוא יצירות ספרות שהן, במקרים רבים, מוכרות להם (בעיקר אלו שמקורן במדינות דוברות פורטוגלית ומדינות אפריקה). על יד לימוד של אותן יצירות, התלמידים ירחיבו את האופקים התרבותיים שלהם, יכירו עובדות היסטוריות ודמויות מרכזיות, תנועות תרבות וספרות ותופעות של העבר וההווה של העולם דובר פורטוגלית. תוצרי למידה בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים: לנתח שירים, סיפורים קצרים ונובלות מובחרים מתוך הספרות הפורטוגלית; לזהות את הנושאים העיקריים ושביצירות פורטוגליות מובחרות; להשוות טקסטים שונים שנכתבו בתקופות שונות ובמדינות שונות אשר דוברות את אותה שפה; תאר את הקונטקסט ההיסטורי, החברתי והתרבותי אשר הוביל לשינויים החשובים ביותר בספרות של מספר מדינות במאה ה- 20 ; לקשר בין היצירות הנלמדות בקורס לבין יצירות אחרות מעולמות תרבותיים אחרים (במידת האפשר). דרישות נוכחות (%): 75% שיטת ההוראה בקורס:הרצאות, קריאה מקרוב, דיון, פרזנטציות בכיתה, צפייה בסרטים (שני סרטים) רשימת נושאים / תכנית הלימודים בקורס: 1. Joדo V, the Inquisition in Portugal in the 18th century; the postmodern historical novel; Study of the novel: historical and invented characters; historical facts and imagined events; the symbolic elements of the novel; the criticism of the present through the past. 3. Brazilian Literature: 3.1. Jorge Amado: Dona Flor and her two husbands; A brief study of the historical and cultural context: Getתlio Vargas' regime, the military dictatorship; some aspects of the Bahian culture and society; Study of the novel: the portrait of the northeastern and Bahian society; the feminine characters and the gradual feminine emancipation in Brazilian society; criticism of customs; criticism of the dictatorship; the use of supernatural resources Lygia Fagundes Telles: The Marble Dance; A brief study of the historical and cultural context: Sדo Paulo in the fifties and sixties; Study of the novel: the role of women in a patriarchal society Rubem Fonseca and the Brazilian urban short story; A brief study of the historical and cultural context: the city of Rio de Janeiro; the heterogeneous city (races and cultures), the divisions in the city (rich versus poor); Study of selected short stories: the city of Rio as character; the relationship of characters of different social status; the urban violence; the language violence. 4. African Literatures of Portuguese Language: 4.1. Introduction: from colonial literature to national literature; 4.2. Angola: a brief study of the historical and cultural context; יJos Luandino Vieira: selected short stories of Luuanda. The relationship of different characters in the musseque; criticism of the Portuguese colonial regime; Pepetela: The return of the water spirit.
