5 Page 5 PRE CHANAKAH PARTY FOR THE CHILDREN SETTING THE SOCIAL HALL FOR FRIDAY NIGHT SHABBATON WITH A THANKSGIVING THEME We flew in turkeys from the US. 125 attended, including the Israeli Ambassador it was a wonderful evening.

6 Page 6 Burial of Michael Osborne a fellow Jew. He lived in Dumaguete, Visayas. He never visited the Synagogue. No one knew him. But as a fellow Jew, it is our obligation, and desire, to give him a proper burial. 11 members led by Rabbi Azaria buried him. Community members contributed $5,000USD to pay the hospital bills, the funeral home and fly him to Manila.

7 Page 7 Lunch is served at the Shuk. Below are some of the wonderful dishes being served. Each market has a different menu. On holidays we also show movies for the children while the parents are shopping. Next market a new shipment of imported items are arriving.
