4 Pesach Information Passover begins on Friday April 22nd. Please contact Rabbi Kornfeld if you do not have a place for Seder on either or both nights. The sale of chametz contract should be completed and returned to Rabbi Kornfeld or one of the Rabbis at the Seattle Va'ad. The Passover directory produced by the Seattle Va'ad is now available. Visit the Seattle Va'ad website for additional Passover information. Jewish Family Service Passover Food Drive The Jewish Family Service is collecting Kosher for Passover food items to support
5 JFS clients. Donations to the food drive can be deposited in the bin located in the Shevet Achim foyer. The Pesach Food Drive will end on April 10th. All foods will be picked up on Friday April 11th. North Mercer Island QFC Passover Update Fresh Passover deli products including fresh fruit, veggies, meat platters, kugels and specialty salads, are available by pre-order These must be ordered two weeks ahead of the pick-up date. Check out the selection below. The order form is available on the Seattle Vaad Passover Page or at the QFC. Handmade shmura matzah is already available. Passover spices are expected on the shelf on Friday, April 1st. Gefilte fish grinding is being planned. QFC Passover order forms are available at the North Mercer Island QFC, on the Seattle Va'ad website's Passover page and by clicking on the links below. Please submit your pre-orders (in person or by phone) for each, at least two weeks prior to your order pick up date. The order date for dairy has passed but orders are still being accepted. 8 NYHS Sefer Torah Dedication Join NYHS for the Sefer Torah Dedication in honor of Rabbi Bernie Fox on Sunday, June 19th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The ceremony starts at Congregation Shevet Achim and we will march with the Torah to its home at NYHS! Brunch will follow the processional and dedication ceremony.
