(D) No. 570, Labour and Employment Department, dated G.O. (D) No. 562, Labour and Employment Department, dated Interim Awards passed by the Special Industrial Tribunal, Chennai-6 as per the details listed in the Annexure. Whereas, the Government had referred the Industrial Dispute between the Workmen and the Managements of certain Textile Mills in Tamil Nadu pertaining to the Charter of demands, for adjudication by the Special Industrial Tribunal, Chennai-6, under Section 10(1)(d) read with Section 10(5) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947; And, Whereas, the Interim Awards passed by the Special Industrial Tribunal in the above Industrial Dispute cases, in respect of the Textile Mills mentioned in Col. (4) of the Annexure, on the date mentioned in Col. (6) of the Annexure, accepting the Settlement they had entered into with their Workmen represented by the Union/Elected Representatives, mentioned in Col. (5) of the Annexure, have been received by the Government; Now, Therefore, in exercise of powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 17 of the abovesaid Act, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that the said Interim Awards be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
