4 of Faith, Hope, and Love. This is a Hymn Festival designed by Karrie Rushing and Brad Collier, and featuring Michael Morgan, Director of Music at Edenton Baptist Church, as our guest organist. After the Hymn Festival, we hope that you will stay for dinner and reflections from the Honduras mission trip, sponsored by our youth. The catered dinner will begin at 5pm, with the mission trip recap following. Saints Alive! Living Generously Giving Tree: Who taught you about living generously? What does it mean to you to give to FPC today? What do you want future generations to learn about living generously? Stop by the bulletin board near the elevator to complete a past, present, or future leaf for the tree. If you d like to share a story about giving, please indicate that on one of the leaves. Session meets at 7pm tonight. Church Photo Directory: Directory Photos will be taken on November The schedule is on the table by the elevator. Some new times have been added, so if you don t already have an appointment, please write down your name in the slot that works for you or contact Janice at Men of the Church: The MOC will meet for breakfast and devotion on Tuesday, November 6, 7am, at the Seahorse. Cost is $9. Presbyterian Women: All Presbyterian Women are invited to lunch at McAlister s on Tuesday, October 23, 1pm. Circle 007 will meet November 4, 5pm in the parlor. The Fall Gathering is Monday, October 22, 12 noon. Fall Festival: The annual Fall Festival sponsored by the Youth will be Sunday, October 28, 4-7pm, rain or shine. Cost is $5 per person ($20 family max). We will have a hot dog supper, games, costume contest, and Trunk or Treat (please contact Brian if you can bring your car to participate in Trunk or Treat). All money raised helps underprivileged families at Christmas. Helping Hands: The Men of the Church Helping Hands program is available to help members with chores and minor projects around your house. Call the office to have someone contact you, Radio: FPC has been successful in reliably live streaming our Sunday worship services as well as special events and services through the free use of Facebook. Viewers have the option of watching in live time or replaying the video at their leisure. The Worship Committee has developed a 1- minute survey to assess how many in the congregation listen to Sunday worship via the radio broadcast and how often. The survey is available through this link Paper copies are available in the church office and with the ushers. Members of the Worship Committee thank you in advance for your participation. Age Venturers: Join the Age Venturers on Wednesday, December 5, for a trip to Mike s Farm including dinner and a hayride through the woods. We will be leaving the church at 4pm. Cost is $35 per person. November 11 is the deadline to sign up and pay in the church office. Limited spots available. Campus Ministry: UKIRK Presbyterian Campus Ministry holds a weekly gathering for college students in Eastern North Carolina meeting here at FPC. We are in need of individuals or groups to provide our meals on Thursday nights. We would love for you to help feed our group of around students, and welcome you to stay and eat with us if you like.
