As a church, we want to see everyone Connect with God, Grow through Community and Serve our World. I encourage you to commit to your personal chair time with Jesus, continue to gather with us on weekends for worship and teaching, seek opportunities to bless and invite those you live, work and play with, get into a group and discover more about who Jesus is by being a contributor. As we do these things together, I know we will see God do immeasurably more in and through us. My prayer is that as you look through this list of programs, classes, events, groups and more, what you ll see is God s invitation to come to know, love and serve Jesus even more as you live out His mission in your life this fall. 7 Alpha is the place for anyone who wants to explore faith in a relaxed, easy setting. Join others as they ask questions about Jesus and find answers together. alpha@beulah.ca Learning Communities gather around bible study curriculum. You will be encouraged, held accountable, inspired, prayed for and able to grow as people who are exploring faith or as Christ followers. They gather in a large space and meet around smaller tables. learningcommunity@beulah.ca Mid-Size Communities bring us together. We were created to be in relationship with others, but in a big church it can be difficult to know where to start. MSC s are large enough that nobody feels like the center of attention, but small enough that everybody will know your name. They are great environments to go deeper and to support one another. Together we will form a complete picture of Jesus so we can be fully alive in Him, thereby impacting our worship, relationships, and attitude toward sin. The opening chapters of Genesis teach us fundamental truths about God. We watch Him bring light after darkness, order after chaos, and rest after toil all through the power of His Word. We can begin to understand ourselves when we first glimpse the character, attribute and promises of our Creator. But subtler idols can sometimes take the form of sweet loved ones, Instagramable interiors, and busy seasons. But if your heart is prioritizing any of those pursuits before God, they are taking up space meant for Him alone. Only when you learn to dethrone modern-day idols can you pursue a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Jesus. Wednesdays, Sep 19-Nov pm $23 Childcare available with pre-registration Men s Wednesday Nights The Book of Galatians Kyle Idleman Writing to the Galatians, Paul made it clear how easily we can be tempted to turn toward false gospels, especially those that teach we can earn God s love through our works. Dive into the book of Galatians, it contains some of the clearest explanations of the gospel in the New Testament. Being involved in KidZone has enriched my life in many aspects as I am able to mentor, teach children about the Love of Jesus, and serve alongside some amazing volunteers who I would call friends.

24 24 Classes Learning together to develop our lives, faith, and leadership. beulah.ca/classes x344 Conquer Series Real, Proven Strategies for Men s Freedom. This 12-week class for men will explore the strongholds that men struggle with, specifically with pornography and purity. By examining the neurochemistry of addiction, men will discover the proven strategies of God to prevent relapse, and will study practical daily techniques to remain free. Jan 20-30, 2019 ~$2,100 Cuba 2019 We will be assisting the community in different ways, including a compassion project and helping locals with construction. November 2018 & February 2019 ~$2, North Africa 2019 We are looking for trained medical professionals with a heart to serve and teach others. Due to some logistical factors, our partners in North Africa can only accommodate a small number of volunteers. Please submit your application early, as space is limited. March 1-15, 2019 ~$2,800 Guinea 2019 We are in need of people with some expertise in leading worship, teaching music, and/or working with audio tech. The musical component will involve training others in worship, music, song lyric composition, and honing skills in playing musical instruments. Audio tech gurus will help train individuals in operating a sound system and teaching how to use computers and recording equipment. April 2019 ~$2,900 Spain 2019 Those with construction experience and those with a gift of helps are invited to assist in the renovations of Bethany House in southern Spain. The facility is used for the Summer School for Youth that gives formal training in INFORMA, the Alliance Seminary in Spain. May 2019 ~$2,500
