6 6 Groups Beulah Alliance Church Annual Report 2017/2018 More people than ever before experienced life in loving community. We have many different types of groups to make sure that there is a group for everyone. Hundreds of people found their place to grow, heal, ask questions, pray, learn, and be a blessing this year inside a Beulah group. I lost who I was. I had nothing to lose. I had so much to gain from what my landlord was telling me about God and Alpha. I started to put more of my trust in Him. After I did that I felt like something punched me in the heart I was overtaken with emotions. My final step in fully surrendering myself was to get baptized. Life became different. Things that I wasn t able to manage before became manageable. My God is there helping me. Chelsey Proulx Watch Chelsea s story at beulah.ca/annualreport

Hundreds of people took a class, attended a conference, or invested in their leadership to be more equipped to make an even greater impact in our city for Jesus. Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18 We were looking for more than just a building to go to on the weekend. Knowing that there was more classes, more things to do here, we looked at each other and we thought we have an opportunity to grow as much as we want to. Our calling, we believe, is that Jesus is calling us to serve others. The more you get involved, the more you re going to learn, the more you re going to grow spiritually. I can set an example for young people but I can also set an example with older people too. When you do get connected, I find so much joy in it... being able to walk through life with people that I love to be around. I have found so many friends within my Young Adults Group and these are friendships that are going to last a lifetime. Raeleigh Kryzanowski Watch Raeleigh s story at beulah.ca/annualreport
14 14 ImpactYEG Beulah Alliance Church Annual Report 2017/2018 We are focused on making a difference where we live, work and play. It s about being the hands and feet of Jesus and offering significant, tangible support to individuals and families in a variety of ways. There was nothing that could really prepare me for going out on the [Women s Salvation Army Outreach] van. The first time I held one of the women in my arms and prayed for her there was this undeniable rush I could just feel God s love in a way I have never felt before. He says in His word, God is close to the broken-hearted and He s near those who are crushed in spirit
15 Annual Report 2017/2018 Beulah Alliance Church ImpactYEG Individuals received clothing and goods through Clothing Plus More Giveaways. Volunteers served with ImpactYEG Christmas Hampers were delivered to families in need. Low Income Families assisted through Summerize Your Ride Oil Changes. of food collected for the Food Bank from the Spring Serve Food Drive Tax Returns were filed through the Tax Assistance Program resulting in over $1 million in benefits and refunds for low income Edmontonians LBS boxes of school supplies, equalling 2585lbs, were given to 7 schools and organizations through Gear for the School Year. 15X Block Party Trailer was used to bless 1350 members of our community through 15 different events. There s nowhere else in my life that I have felt that kind of connection to God, not because I have any sort of talent or gift to bring them, just because He s willing to use me to flow out His love for these women. And it s undeniable how much He loves them. JULIE DAY Watch Julie s story at beulah.ca/annualreport
16 16 Care & Compassion Fund Beulah Alliance Church Annual Report 2017/2018 Giving to the Care and Compassion Fund makes a lasting impact across our city. Through the Care and Compassion Fund we are able to fund several community impact initiatives designed to serve our city as well as partner with many local organizations to support the good work they are doing. I started to realize this was something we could do with God behind us Obviously God is opening these doors. We aren t qualified to take a sibling group of three girls with special needs but here we are. God doesn t call the qualified, He qualifies the called. 19 Annual Report 2017/2018 Beulah Alliance Church Global Impact Shoeboxes made for Operation Christmas Child Refugee Families are being supported as they settled into life in Edmonton. people attended Global Impact Nights to hear highlights from missions experiences. 52 individuals served on 7 short term mission teams. I was sitting in a Beulah service and there was an international worker there and he said, If you feel the call of God, I want you to stand right now, and at that moment I knew that God was calling me to the mission field, so I stood. We re not pastors and we re not leading a church. We re living in a neighbourhood of people who are very far from God. They need to see people who are following Jesus and see what that could look like for them. For us it s not just talking about who Christ is, but modeling Christ to our friends around us. If you have a heart to serve Jesus, you can do that anywhere. Peter & Celeste Reichert Watch Peter & Celeste s story at beulah.ca/annualreport

23 Annual Report 2017/2018 Beulah Alliance Church Bold Faith 23 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. EPHESIANS 3:20 If we all pool our resources, this vision will become a reality and it ll be a place for our kids and all the other kids in the neighbourhood to gather and for future generations... Now is the time for us as a church to come together to build this building, to reach into our community, and build a future for our children.
