Designed to effect value change, the four-tier training approach builds you through biblical learning, mentoring relationships, missions exposure and local internship involvement. If you are finishing your O levels, A levels, or National Service, board onto Trackers to strengthen your relationship with God and be sent off in the right direction for the next phase of your life. 8 prayerfocus MISSIONS MEKONG John Lim 1) Pray for the Christmas events and services held in churches and villages in Thailand, that God will open the hearts of the pre-believers to receive the good news. 2) Pray for journey mercies as John travels within Thailand and Myanmar. Pray for God s anointing to be upon John as he shares God s message. 3) Pray for the PLMC team, led by Lucy, as they share the good news of Christmas at Laputta and at Yangon, Myanmar. Boonchiaw 1) Pray for God is Good Church Bueng Kan s evangelistic events from December They will be reaching out to school children in Nong Kheng Vittaya School and the community around the church at Non Sawang in Bueng Kan. B & L 1) Pray for the first batch of trainees who graduated from the TESOL programme who have gone to various locations to teach English. Pray that the Christ-life (Galatians 2:20) will flow through them powerfully to impact their students. 2) Pray for B & L to have strength and wisdom to know how and when to meet the needs of people going to them for healing and deliverance. KG & C 1) Pray for J, a student who, for the past few months, has been having a difficult time with her colleagues whilst doing her internship at a hotel. 2) Pray for God to grant KG & C wisdom as they minister to J. Pray that J will have peace and learn to pray and trust God to bring good out of the situation. East Asia Songs 1) Pray for a fruitful time as they spend Christmas and New Year with their children in the United States. Pray for them as they do some recruitment and mobilization of workers. 2) Pray for one of the two TAN workers wives who is expecting their second child to stay healthy as they live in high altitude locations which can complicate childbirth. Anna Joy 1) Praise God for a new term of assignment in East Asia and Thailand. Pray for Anna s adjustment as she operates from the base in Singapore. 2) Pray for Anna s trip to KM, DL and FZ in December. SKI 1) Pray for SKI as she deliberates the right time and what to do in reaching out to the students and the community. Pray for SKI to have good health as she manages her load of projects, theses, counselling sessions, exams, teaching of classes and extra-curricular activities. 2) Pray for wisdom and direction for the leaders and decision makers of the university as it is uncertain if the university will survive after the next 3 or 4 years. Eve 1) Pray for Eve to enjoy fellowship with God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit our counsellor daily. 2) Pray for Eve to have wisdom to guide specific students / sisters-in-christ with their life issues, and to continue to see and love them as God would.

Her next review is on 18 December Cru Singapore Nigel Ho 1) Pray for the students who attended the students conference on December 2017 to encounter God and that their lives may be impacted by Him. YWAM Singapore Beatrice Wee 1) Pray for Beatrice s sprained ankle, where she tore two ligaments, to be healed. Pray for strength and peace during her recovery period. 2) Pray for Beatrice to be guided by God to handle and steward all her responsibilities well. YWAM Singapore Tessa Choo 1) Pray for Tessa and the homeless ministry team to constantly rely on Holy Spirit s leading and to express God s mercy and truth in everything that they do from hospital visits, to one-on-one counselling sessions, from Bible studies to meal times with them. 2) Pray for Tessa and her homeless ministry team members hearts to continue to be receptive to God s healing and restoration to allow Him to meet them at their deepest pain and hurt. Wycliffe Singapore Grace Tan 1) Pray for Grace as she designs a set of language learning lessons suitable for lowcommitment learners and teachers. Grace hopes that the lessons can be used as bonding activities in migrant ministry or missions trips. East Asia Thomas & Gloria Kim 1) Pray for journey mercies as Thomas travels to attend a Crisis Management meeting for one week in January ) Pray for the Kim family s financial needs as they require urgent funds for their children s school fees for the next semester, visa fees and funds to attend their organization regional conference by the first week of January Pray for Thomas and Gloria s visa renewal.

10 CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL BRIEFING There will be a briefing for ALL Christmas Carnival volunteers on Sunday, 17 December For your convenience, the Briefing will be done in 2 sessions (repeated). Session 1: (For volunteers from the 9am service and the Youth Service): Please meet at 10.45am sharp at Jerusalem Room, 2nd floor for a General briefing. (able bodied persons kindly take the stairs). Briefing will end at 11.45am. Session 2: (For volunteers from the 11.15am services) Please meet at 1pm sharp at Gabriel Room, first floor for a General briefing. Briefing will end at 2pm. CONTENT OF BRIEFING First 30 mins General Briefing on: Carnival program flow, assignment of duties, layout of stalls, evacuation plan, safety, stall set up, coupons collection, how to host the guests, follow up for Christmas services. Prayer for the event. Second 30 mins Break into Craft stalls to learn craft demo Games stalls to confirm set up needs, view prizes provided Food stalls to finalise details Logistics and Security team Befrienders, Drivers and General Helpers Performers The entire briefing should be done in one hour for both sessions. 11 JOB OPPORTUNITY PLMC is looking for a suitable candidate to join the staff team as Director of Operations Job Scope Lead and direct the operations, management, and maintenance of the church s facilities, equipment and properties so that they are in good condition to support the church s functions office operations, worship services, ministries, and events. The incumbent reports directly to the Pastor-In-Charge. Responsibilities 1. Oversee and implement a facilities, equipment (including Audio, Visual, and ICT) and property maintenance programme (in consultation with the Property Management Committee) to ensure functionality and provide logistical support for the ministries of the church. 2. Plan and oversee all inspection of facilities, repair and installation activities, and inventory planning and procurement. 3. Prepare tender documents, procure and manage any contract services for items mentioned in paragraph Oversee the preparation, execution and control of an annual budget to cover all items relating to church property development and maintenance. 5. Oversee security of church premises and ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act in accordance to requirements of the Ministry of Manpower, SG Secure practices and other relevant statutory acts. 6. Supervise a team and collaborate with volunteers. 7. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: A relevant degree with at least 5 years experience in a mid to senior management position in property and facilities management. Similar experience in a voluntary capacity could be considered. Ability to think strategically and analytically, and make sound decisions. Effective in leading and motivating team(s) and collaborate with staff, leaders and volunteers at all levels. Good communications, writing and presentation skills.
