1 Presentation Ministries Bible Institute July July 29, 2012 Mary as the Mother of God and Spouse of the Holy Spirit is the clear and certain pathway to living in Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Her yes reverberates down through the ages enabling each of us to experience the redemption Christ won for us. We can take other roads, struggle with obstacles, and go off on our own but by traveling with Mary we will experience the comfort of her presence as well as the power and strength of the very Spirit of God. By looking to the Scriptures and reflecting on Mary s response to the Holy Spirit, we find a model for our reply to the Lord s call to discipleship. What will be your answer? The Bible Institute provides a unique opportunity to hear pertinent teachings, personal witnesses, and above all to be equipped as a disciple for Christ. Come learn to imitate Jesus in His character and ministry. The Bible identifies more than thirty spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit. The seminars through the week offer teachings on the gifts of healing, prophecy, teaching, intercession, leadership, encouragement, and others. You will learn how to identify them, and use them to impact the world around you. Gifted lay people who have been formed and equipped through Presentation Ministries provide anointed teachings. They model for you how the Lord can move powerfully in those who open themselves to God s plan in their lives. FATHER BOB HOGAN Father Bob Hogan, BBD will be the Guest Speaker for the seminar, Mary, the Pathway to Living in the Power of the Holy Spirit. Father Bob will open our minds and hearts to the fullness of God s plan in bringing Mary and the Holy Spirit into the very center of our faith life. He along with Father George Montague are directors of the newly founded religious community, Brothers of the Beloved Disciple, in San Antonio Texas. The mission of their community is with Mary, to bring the full role of the Holy Spirit into the heart of the Church. The early Church was profoundly charismatic. The Holy Spirit bestowed the full power of His gifts upon the early disciples enlivening and strengthening their faith. Along with Mary, they then had the endurance to form strong evangelizing communities. Father Bob will place before us the challenge of living out this dual vision of being dedicated to Mary and fashioned by the Holy Spirit. FATHER DAN HAVRON Father Dan Havron, OFM will be the Guest Speaker for the seminar offered on July 27 and 28, Mary, the Model of Evangelism: Do whatever He tells you. Jn 2:5a From the inner city to the suburbs, in churches, classrooms, and social halls, Father Dan is doing his best to inject a dose of missionary zeal into the lives of Catholics of all ages. Father Dan believes it is his calling to encourage people to live the Gospel and to do it more actively than ever before. John Paul II has said that the lay persons in the world are called to transform it, wherever they happen to be. The call to holiness happens in the ordinary circumstances in our lives every day. If we can cope and triumph in that, we are fulfilling that sense of mission. Father Dan states that mission is at the heart of why we exist as a Church. DEACON RALPH POYO Deacon Ralph Poyo, the founder of New Evangelization Ministries of Steubenville Ohio, has experienced for himself the Lord s transforming power. He will be serving at the Institute in several ways on Thursday and Friday (July 26, 27). He will be the presider for adoration on Thursday evening and the presenter of the teen program on Friday, Authentic Discipleship. With his engaging and passionate style of preaching, the Lord continues to use him to reach and challenge listeners of all ages. He has a special gift of challenging young people to make a decision for Christ. He is passionate about reaching out in order to bring a new life in the Holy Spirit to those who are thirsty for more.

Father Al put into place several ministries that are set up to disciple the laity for service to the Gospel. One of those ministries is the By tracing the prophetic nature of the Old Testament in preparation for Christ along with Mary s response to the Lord s call to her, we gain insight into our own mission to be disciples of Jesus. 11 BIBLE INSTITUTE FEES Presentation Ministries continues its policy of financing its ministries by contributions. We work for the Lord and trust Him to supply our needs. Pray and listen to God for what He would have you give. In this way, all who are called can be equipped for ministry, no matter what their financial situation. If you are willing to help others who cannot afford their full costs, we invite your donation. God can multiply His favors among you so that you may always have enough of everything and even a surplus for good works (2 Cor 9:8). In order to process your registration, please send all information in at one time. Availability will be assigned and waiting lists handled in the order that the COMPLETED registration is received. Upon receipt of your complete registration, you will be sent an acknowledgement package including a map, a schedule of the seminars you have chosen, and other information concerning housing, meals, etc. Please allow two to four weeks for our response. If you wish to share housing with someone, please send in your registrations together. If you are coming with a group, please indicate that on the Registration Form. We will attempt to fill your requests for accommodations nearby or on the same floor. Registrations received after July 6 will not be confirmed by mail.
