4 SUNDAY, MAY 28, AMAZING GRACE, MY CHAINS ARE GONE Amazing grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace, my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed. My chains are gone, I've been set free. My God my Savior has ransomed me. And like a flood His mercy reigns; Unending love, amazing grace. The Lord has promised good to me. His word my hope secures. 10 BLESSED IS THE NATION 7 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Their trust is not in the shield or the sword. They turn their eyes to heaven whatever they face, grounded and guarded and guided by grace. Blessed are the lives that are built on God s Word, those hearts that trust in the truth they have heard, Waiting for wisdom that comes from on high, walking by faith with His Word as their guide. Blessed are the people confessing their sin, humb ling their hearts and returning to Him. Their prayers will be answered, and they ll find His hand moving with mercy and healing their land.
