This story a empts to explain the human condi on, that we are born into this world as imperfect beings separated from God, and that we need God s grace. We know we are in need of a savior because we have been given a savior in Jesus Christ. We have a human longing for something more, a reunion with the divine, which we cannot bring about on our own. The gi of the Holy Spirit we receive at bap sm unites us with God as bap sm establishes us into a loving rela onship with him and the community into which we are bap zed. We do not possess grace; grace possesses us! Life a er bap sm should reflect a conversion toward holiness, which is why our Catholic prac ces and educa on are essen al in daily life. As bap zed people, we are called to embrace con nual conversion towards holiness as we await the fulfillment of the coming Reign of God. Donor levels for leaves will be: $500 Bronze ~ $1,000 Copper $2,500 Silver ~ $5,000 Gold Donor level for Stones: $10,000 and above Donations between $250 and less than $500 will be placed on a plaque recognizing these generous contributions. Donations can be given to the church through the rectory or the envelopes provided in the pews. Donations may be made in someone's name (living or deceased), a family donation or for businesses. Donations may also be made online at churchsh.weshareonline. It is the goal of the parish to pay off the hall as soon as possible. All donations big and small make a difference and are greatly appreciated. This beautiful new facility will serve the people of Sacred Heart for years to come. The first batch of leaves will be sent to the engraver soon.
