A Baby Care room is provided for nursing moms & energetic kids. It s in the foyer to the right as you exit the worship center. ANGEL TREE GIFTS Angel Tree, a program of Prison Fellowship, reaches out to the children of prisoners and their families with the love of Christ. 3 WEEKLY PRAYER SHEET 12/10/2017 Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem In 1995, Congress adopted the Jerusalem Embassy Act, urging the federal government to relocate the American embassy to Jerusalem and to recognize that the city is Israel s capital. This act passed Congress by an overwhelming bipartisan majority and was reaffirmed by a unanimous vote six months ago. God measures time in modules of 50 years; the principle of Jubilee as seen in Leviticus 25. President Trump s declaration last week has great significance in that regard a Jubilee year, Balfour Amendment establishing Israel as a Jewish state 1967 a Jubilee year, 6 Day War reuniting Jerusalem to Israel 2017 a Jubilee year, declaration recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moving of the U.S. Embassy Prayer Points: Pray for the protection of President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu as resistance is demonstrated. Pray for the salvation of the Jews, Gentiles, and Muslims living in Jerusalem. Pray that the Prince of Peace will be known in the region and in this season. We d love to pray for you! 4 WE PRAY FOR AN EFFECTIVE WITNESS OF THE GOSPEL BY THE FOLLOWING MISSIONARIES: Andy and Janet Kerr: Emmaus Encounter, Lakeside Northern Lights : Middle East Paul : Christian Aid Mission, Central Asia Pray for Paul s safety, effectiveness of translation work, and witness in a hostile environment of unreached Muslim people. Jorene Williams: BCM, After School Bible Club Her car, a 1997 Honda with over 220k miles, is in need of repairs and/or an upgrade. Two items need attention soon. Pray for this need. Her support is below the suggested mission amount. Kveta a Vladimir Zemanov: Vysoke Myto, Czech Republic Chris & Kim Baker: Summit Life Church, Whitefish Pray for a Children s Ministry Coordinator. There is a growing need. Bruce & Jessica Crockett, Kyle & Marisa Rosas, Steve Crews: Gateway Church, Church Planters: Paul & Heather Hunt, Outdoorsmen Church, Missoula, MT Pray that the planters would prioritize their relationship with Jesus. Pray that they stay in His Word, fellowship deeply with Him in prayer, and keep their lives pure. South Asia Project: Our partners are busy sharing the Good News in this season, pray for open and receptive hearts Carmen DeVries: Ethnos 360 in Papua New Guinea Pray for Dorm parents for the middle school and high school students. Without this service, at least six tribal works will be impacted because parents will have to leave the bush locations and relocate to be near the school. Jake & Katie Oyler: Ethnos 360 in missionary training Zach & Carrie Wolfe: Pioneers Ministry Glacier Bible College: Pray for the funds needed to build the dorms and staff house. Pray for the recruitment of the 20 students to start in the Fall of Making the next generation a priority of prayer: 59% of young Christians temporarily or permanently disconnect from the church after age of 15. Suicide is the third leading cause of death for youth ages One in four teenagers have at least one major episode of depression in high school. We need to pray for the next generation! For Affections: At the root of our habits are affections. Pray for God to awaken a deep longing only He can fill in this generation, and pray for Him to satisfy their affections in Jesus. 5 Glacier Bible College Curriculum and Credits Students will master key theological concepts and learn to filter their beliefs and habits (as well as the world around them) through a study of a Biblical Worldview curriculum that includes Christian Life studies, Scripture studies, Apologetics, and Christian Relationships. In order to deepen their understanding of Creation, man s fall, the curse, and the universal flood, Creation science field trips to Mount St. Helens, Yellowstone National Park, and Grand Canyon National Park are planned. Additionally, an optional college group study trip to Israel is being explored. The quality of the curriculum material, along with the professional credentials of the faculty all add up to a well-rounded educational experience for the students. Discussions with Yellowstone Christian College in Billings, Montana Bible College in Bozeman, and Gateway Seminary in California are taking place to accepting a good portion of the one year credits from GBC towards a four year program.

6 WINTER QUARTER 2018 Classes begin January 3 THURSDAY MORNING CLASSES THE QUEST (Beth Moore s Newest Bible Study) Facilitator: Marcia Location: Room 206 Time: 10-11:30AM Cost: $13 Ladies, please join us in this short six-week study, a cross between a curriculum and a journal: a classroom and a prayer closet. There are three objectives: promote deeper intimacy with God, foster a sojourner mentality as comfort that we are only passing through this world, and to foster an adventurer-mentality as subjects of royal blood unrecognized by the world, but headed to an unshakable kingdom worth the arduous trip. TRIM HEALTHY MOMMA (& Daddy too) Facilitator: Susie Newton Location: Room 401 Time: 10-11:30AM Cost: $14 This easy approach to vibrant health has been extremely popular and successful here at Easthaven. It is a highly effective, simple plan for eating that centers on hearty, delicious, and satisfying food. Women in our church have lost between 20-30lbs, triglycerides have been lowered from 156 to 86, cholesterol lowered from 180 to 159. All ages are encouraged to join us! MATTHEW PRECEPT STUDY Facilitator: Gail Macauley Location: Room 218 Time: 10-11:30AM Cost: $16 What is His kingdom? What is the character and lifestyle of those who are a part of this kingdom? We will walk with Jesus through towns and villages as He heals the sick, casts out demons, calms the seas, and listen as He explains His kingdom. PRIMETIMERS: BOOKS OF THE BIBLE STUDY Facilitator: Pastor Frank Location: Atrium Time: 10-11:30AM Cost: Free We would love for anyone 50 years and up to join in this new daytime Bible study designed and presented by Pastor Frank. It s getting pretty crowded, but we have plenty of room! MEN S EARLY MORNING STUDY Facilitator: Justin McKerrow Location: Atrium Time: 6-7:30AM Cost: Free We meet early so you can get your study in before the day gets too busy. Why should you invite other single moms? 95% of single moms are not in church for various reasons, and single moms are the fastest growing population in the world. Invite! LEARN BIBLE IN 24 HOURS (Men & Women) Facilitator: George Lafemina Location: Room 310 Time: 6:15-7:45PM Cost: $15 Embark on this literary adventure, and it will result in a more practical strategic awareness of the entire Bible. A fascinating read as we encounter the greatest evil, betrayals, deception, and prince of darkness along with the greatest good, highest achievements, and sacrifice by Jesus, Redeemer of all mankind. This six-week adventure will help us see the biblical foundation of marriage, servant leadership, intimacy, threats, and more. Easthaven is growing out of Bible study space, so the men have graciously offered to meet off campus at 30 2nd Street East in Kalispell. NO OTHER GODS Facilitator: Jill Hembroff Location: Pastor Daniel s Home Time: 6:15-7:45 Cost: $13 In this ladies class, we will participate in an unrivaled pursuit of Christ that will include: fresh content, activities, recipes, and eight teaching sessions. We will also be challenged to evaluate if we have any modern-day idols and embrace a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Jesus. The class begins January 10.
