2 Big Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church Reverend John Foster Ph.D., Senior Pastor Annual Day Sunday, March 13, :45 am & 11:00 am Worship Leaders: Sister Chanta Miller 7:45AM Service Sister Alaya Boykin 11:00AM Service The Prelude Bro. Phillip Skerrett The Introit We Have Come Into This House The Processional Ministers, Stewards, Choir, Acolytes and Worship Participants * The Doxology #647 Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him all creatures here below; Praise Him above ye heavenly host, Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen. * The Call to Worship Leader: People: Leader: People: Leader: People: Leader: People: Leader: All: The Hymn of Praise Come. Let us worship God. Come. Let us worship the One who calls us by name. Come. Let us worship the God who is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. Come. Let us worship God in spirit and in truth. We come worshiping the God who orders our steps, the God who will guide our feet, the God who directs mission in our hearts, the God who is pleased when we commit our lives to Him. We come with the true commitment to seek God first, knowing that it is absolutely impossible to live a full Christian life and effectively accomplish the work of mission without having a complete commitment to following God. Come, commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. Even in your suffering work, commit and do good according to God s will. Therefore, we come in true solidarity declaring that we are called to strengthen our faith and sent to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ by service and witness in the world. Let the people of God say, Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Let the people of God say, Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let the people of God say, Amen! Amen! Bro. Jalen McCloud/ Dr. Andrea Lewis This is My Mission (Song to the tune of Blessed Assurance -Hymn 450) 1. Blessed with His goodness, blessed with His love, blessed with His showers, that comes from above, Blessed with His sunshine, blessed with His air, I ll go on helping everywhere. ~REFRAIN: This is my mission, this is my prayer helping the needy, everywhere. This is my mission, this is my prayer. Helping the needy, everywhere. 2. God gives the courage, faith leads the way onward we travel, happy and gay, Thinking of others, willing to share taking God s message, everywhere. ~REFRAIN 3. Remembering others, where re I pray, Looking to Jesus, He is the way, Onward I travel, Him by my side. I ll never falter, He is my guide. ~REFRAIN 2 Big Bethel A.M.E. Church
