Looks like God can t make up his mind. We can see a change in the weather everyday. Snow, hurricane-like storms, sun, cold and hot.

Change of the weather is normal isn t it? Our way of life though with God and those around us changes.

Other times, well we re like rainy days. We can t be bothered. Things and life preoccupy our time. Why is that?

Didn t God say in Numbers 23:19 God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind.

Palm Sunday Procession Good Friday Maundy Thursday Easter Vigil We change every single day. Why is that?

We make verbal contracts with God stating: I m going to do better and yet fail right after signing it.

If that were the case, we would never enter the Kingdom. We would never choose God. He has to do it.

2 Noah s Ark Holy Week and Easter May 2018 From the Pastor Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, April showers bring May flowers. That s the statement we all love to hear. Before April, some of us in the North East were just hoping and praying for some spring weather. Looks like God can t make up his mind. We can see a change in the weather everyday. Snow, hurricane-like storms, sun, cold and hot. Which weather day would you choose? Personally, I don t mind the snow. It means my allergies wont be bothering me for the day. Change of the weather is normal isn t it? Our way of life though with God and those around us changes. Some days, we are excited to worship and gather. We re excited to praise God and tell the Good News. Other times, well we re like rainy days. We can t be bothered. Things and life preoccupy our time. Why is that? Why can t we be 100 percent involved with God? Didn t God say in Numbers 23:19 God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? Palm Sunday Procession Good Friday Maundy Thursday Easter Vigil We change every single day. Why is that? We make promises to be better Christians. We make verbal contracts with God stating: I m going to do better and yet fail right after signing it. It s the main reason why God makes promises and convents with us. He knows we change our mind all the time. If that were the case, we would never enter the Kingdom. We would never choose God. He has to do it. Thankfully, we have a God who loves us and never changes it. He s a merciful and steady God. 6 The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, Exodus 34:6 Due to grace and mercy we have faith in Jesus. Faith that moves our bodies and minds to grow in Jesus. With the help of God everyday, we can focus upon His word and His work. Our mood might change, but our faith never will because our faith isn t ours, it s a gift from God. Thank you God for the Gift of Faith. May it continue to grow. The Atlantic District LWML Convention was held on Saturday, April 21-Sunday, April 22, 2018 in Suffern, NY. Mim Edwins and Kay Wanner attended and were hostesses at the conference! Deaconess Phyllis Yee also attended. Donations of toiletries and gift cards were collected from the congregation in memory of Ann Olsen and brought to the convention for the women in the Center for Safety and Change.
