This class will meet the 2 nd and 4 th Saturdays of each month, 10:00 am-12:00 pm, for 12 sessions. Dr. Woods will be the instructor and following are the five topics that will be studied: Anthropology - The Origin and Destiny of Mankind Hamartiology - Sin, its Origin, its Working and its Elimination Soteriology - Being Saved and all that Pertains to the Christian Life Ecclesiology - The Study of the Christian Church Eschatology - A Study of End-Time Prophecy through the Book of Revelation If you have not had this class, enroll into it and become blessed beyond your imagination. 4 COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY Every Thursday evening, 7:00-8:30 pm, Dr. Woods conducts a Community Bible Study. This Bible Study is open to the public and is for the benefit of anyone desires to attend. The class meets at the Big Miller Grove Baptist Church. Dr. Woods teaches using an Interactive Handout and he intersperses a variety of theological, doctrinal and hermeneutical matters within the lesson. 5 GREENFOREST COMMUNITY MUNITY BAPTIST CHURCH On Wednesday, January 5 and January 12, Dr. Woods taught through the book of Galatians during the Annual Winter Bible Study Series at Greenforest Community Baptist Church. Dr. Woods returned on Sunday, January 30 to preach during both of their Morning Worship Services. He was well-received by this Bible-led and Bible-fed congregation and numerous copies of his books were purchased. Greenforest grew from a membership of less than 50 persons to well over 6000 under the leadership of the late Dr. George McCalep. For the past three years, Greenforest has been under the leadership of Pastor Dennis Mitchell, a great man in his own right. They have a wonderful Christian School, a myriad of Bible Study classes and many other ministries that can meet your spiritual and social needs. 6 BIG MILLER GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH On Saturday, January 15, Dr. Woods conducted a Teacher Development Workshop for the Christian Education Department of the Big Miller Grove Baptist Church. At the direction of Minister Gwen Artis, the Christian Education Director, Dr. Woods taught on Classroom Preparation to Engage Effective Christian Education. Two of Dr. Woods staffpersons, Dr. Albertine Marshall and Mrs. Cynthia Hillery Jackson taught on Classroom Procedures to Ensure Effective Christian Education. 50 persons from the Big Miller Grove teaching staff were in attendance. Dr. Woods will return on Saturday, March 19 for another session designed to help these men and women serve with a sense of excellence in their respective roles.
