2 DeMersseman Family: Praise to God for all the people He sent to us to help after our house fire. Thanks to God for our lives and good health. ~ Mary and David DeMersseman Notes Honduras: Our Office Administrator, Debi Fiegle would like to thank the PCPH family for their prayers and generous contributions that helped to make her mission trip to Honduras a success. The people in Honduras were very appreciative of all the medicine they received. Thank you for your generosity. A pine needle basket handcrafted by Honduran Villagers is being given to PCPH for your generosity and you can see it in the Narthex. Many thanks also to Judy Gammonley, our Parish Nurse for coordinating all of the donations. New Addition: Our Director of Children and Youth Ministry, Malissa Garcia had her baby. Welcome to Julia Grace Garcia! She was 9lbs., 21 inches and born on Monday, July 11 th at 11:07pm. The whole family is doing well and appreciate all of the prayers and continued support. Growing Tree Family Needs Support: McKenna Jones is a Growing Tree VPK graduate. Her father, Casey Jones, was tragically killed in an automobile accident in Crystal River, Florida on the night of July 13 th. Casey was a loving husband to Megan Jones, and a devoted father to his three beautiful children: McKenna (5), Maddox (3) and Murray (2). Our hearts are broken for his wife, Megan, as she has to make some difficult decisions in the upcoming days. Our thoughts and prayers are with her. Due to the outpouring of love and support for the Jones family, an account has been set up to help Megan with the difficult journey ahead and to aid in providing for her children. There is a GoFundMe page, if you wish to contribute. Any and all donations are appreciated and will go directly to the family. Prayers for Youth: Some of our High School students are heading to Southwind Summer Camp to join the Work Crew this week. Please keep them in your prayers while they are challenged to take their faith to a new level and learn how to serve like Jesus did thousands of years ago.

5 Children, Youth, and Family Summer Ministry Children: Sports Camp/Vacation Bible School PCPH has a rich history of hosting Vacation Bible School and/or a Christian Sports Camp for our littlest of people at PCPH and in the Palm Harbor area. Although we love participating in this ministry every Summer and have found much success with each program, this Summer will be a bit different. Our Children, Youth, and Family ministry has decided that for this Summer PCPH will not be able to host a VBS or Sports Camp on our property. Our Children and Youth Director, Malissa Garcia, is expecting her second child in July (great news!) and will be on maternity leave, and unfortunately we do not have enough volunteers to support such programs without her leadership. PCPH and our Children, Youth, and Family ministry are planning to host a VBS or Sports Camp next Summer, but we do appreciate your grace and patience this Summer as our church family expands! If you have any questions regarding VBS, our children s ministry, or Summer programs please contact our Children and Youth Director, Malissa Garcia, or Huiran Xaxni, our children s elder at PCPH! One Room Summer Sunday School- (Ages 4-5 th Grade) Our children s ministry Sunday school program will continue to meet each week for games, worship, a Biblical lesson, and fun during our 10:15 worship service! Our entire Sunday school class will meet as one in the library from June - August where we will either participate in a Sunday School lesson or Christian Movie with popcorn! Our hope is that this Summer will be a fun time of fellowship, games, and crafts for our children at PCPH. Summer Youth Ministry (Grades 6 th -12 th ) Our middle and high school youth groups have transitioned into our Summer ministry programs and have taken a break until the Fall from our weekly meetings. Although each group will not be meeting as a whole each week, our ministry will have events, camps, and fellowship opportunities that we hope you as a student can become involved in. Our prayer is that each student would have a fun and safe Summer away from school! Malissa s Maternity Leave Youth Ministry Events July 26 th - August 6 th - High School Work Crew at Southwind Summer Camp August 2 nd - August 6 th - Middle School Southwind Summer Camp Our Children and Youth Director, Malissa Garcia, will be on maternity leave from July 10 th - September 7 th this Summer. All of the children and youth programs that are listed above will proceed this Summer, and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Malissa via the PCPH office. The office will be able to get a message to her during maternity leave.
