3 Come and Celebrate the Anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun We will commemorate the great miracle of the Sun (October 13, 1917 ) witnessed by 70,000 people. Rain poured down, causing gigantic puddles in the muddy field and drenching all the people. Sr. Lucy gives this account at this end of the vision. We will commemorate this miracle: Date: Friday, October 13, 2017 Place: St. Charles Seminary Schedule: 6:00 Holy Hour 7:30 Mass 7:00 Drama depicting the event 8:30 Procession and Final Benediction Sister Lucy gives this account: Our Lady opened her hands, and made them reflect on the sun. As she ascended, the reflection of her own light continued to be projected on the sun itself. Therefore, I cried out to the people to look at the sun. I did this under the guidance of an inner impulse because I was not even aware of their presence. The Cosmic Miracle For the next ten minutes, the crowd witnessed the cosmic miracle of the sun dancing. After the sun danced, it seemed to leave its orbit and hurtle toward earth. The people thought it was the end of the world. Many fell on their knees. Suddenly, the sun returned to its normal place. Everything was dry. All the puddles were gone. All the people s clothing was dry, like on a hot summer day. These cosmic events were photographed and publicized in the secular papers of Portugal. Three Kinds of Cenacles The heartbeat of FOL is the weekly cenacle. We do not seek to have large cenacles in each parish but many small cenacles (whose members can join with others in regional and diocesan events). We deeply encourage Unofficial Home Cenacles as the beginning moment. These cenacles are people who pray weekly in their home with family and frients. Please think of beginning as soon as possible. Find a Catholic neighbor. Invite them to your home and begin. You might be surprised by what Our Lady does. Three Completed Events May 13, 2017 Our Lady of Fatima, Bensalem To our great surprise, over 300 people braved a thunderstorm and many accidents on I-95 to honor Our Lady and to hear Father James Blount and to enjoy a drama about the six visions of Fatima. June 17, 2017 Corpus Christi, Lansdale Over 130 people came to honor the Real Presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament and to hear Father Bill Gaffney. They also enjoyed a beautiful drama on Eucharistic miracles. June 19 22, 2017 New School of Catholic Spirituality Our spirituality school (4 days, 3 hours and 12 talks) was a great success. Attendance increased each day with over 40 people being blessed. All spoke of the deep quality of the teachings. We will seek a format which can be used at the parish level.

6 Quotes From the Diary In the diary, Mary gives us her revelations and guidance. To receive these favors, we must be familiar with all that she and Jesus revealed. The three monthly retreats will take their themes from the following quotes. Reading them will fill your heart. The numbers next to each quote is the page on the Diary (Simplified Version) where you can read the words. Chapter 1 - Promises 18. Each time you fast, you will free a priest s soul from purgatory (Jesus) 20. My flame will go forth from Carmel, because they are the ones most called to honor me. (Mary) 25. Through this Prayer, Satan will be blind and souls will not be led into sin. (Jesus) 29. If they used the sacrament of Penance to polish these treasures, they would shine again. (Jesus) 32. Since the Word became Flesh, I have never given such a great movement as the Flame of Love that comes to you now. Until now, there has been nothing that so blinds Satan. I cannot deny my Mother anything when she uses her Flame of Love (Jesus) 33. With my Flame of Love I want the home to come alive again with love. I want to unite scattered families. (Mary) 38. I will blind Satan so this Flame will save the dying from eternal damnation. (Mary) 40. You must see Thursday and Friday as days of great grace. 44. My Flame of Love is burning. It is so great that I cannot keep it any longer within me. It leaps out to you with explosive power. (Mary) Nothing like this has existed before. This is my greatest miracle that I will do for all (Mary) 46. If at any moment, someone prays three Hail Mary s in my honor, while referring to the Flame of Love, they will free a soul from purgatory. (Mary) While someone is at adoration or visiting the Blessed Sacrament, Satan loses his dominion. As a blind man, he ceases to rule over souls. (Mary) 49. Participating in mass helps the most in blinding Satan. He knows his downfall is near. (Mary) 64. By my Flame of Love, a new era of grace, never before known on the earth, will begin (Mary) When the effect of grace of my Mother s Flame of Love pours out into all hearts, she will be venerated as never before. (Jesus) If my Flame of Love is lit upon the earth, grace will be poured out upon the dying. Satan will be blinded and though your nightly vigil, the agony of the dying will end. Even the hardened sinner will have a conversion. (Mary) 66. If a family keeps a holy hour on Thursday or Friday, and someone in that family dies, the person will be freed from Purgatory after one day of the fast kept by a family member. 68. My Flame of Love will illuminate souls with a gentle light. They will be intoxicated with abundant graces and announce the Flame to everyone. A torrent of graces which have not been given since the Word became Flesh will pour out. (Mary) 70. When I encounter one holy person, I pardon many. (Jesus) 74. Let my Precious Blood fall upon you. My drops of Blood are a blank check. 86. The time you spend on me is never lost. It is saved for eternity. 87. Satan being blind signifies a worldwide triumph of my Sacred Heart, the freedom of souls and a full opening of the road of salvation (Jesus).
7 Witness Stories Abortion Clinic Closing Sacramento, California Due to months of efforts by FOL members, the Woman s Health Specialist abortion clinic closed its doors in May, The final day held another surprise. A woman who worked at the clinic came out to apologize to us for all her rude remarks. She said that three years ago, she was pregnant and, in spite of hopelessness, she chose to have her child (now two and a half). She never regretted her decision in spite of financial struggles. She kept hugging us and said that God had gotten her a good job. All of us volunteers rejoiced. The Abortion Clinic was closing for good and a worker was going in the right direction. Jennifer and Susan Our Lady of Guadalupe I was outside a Planned Parenthood Abortion clinic when I saw a woman going in who held a holy card of Our Lady of Guadalupe. I began to plead with her, saying Our Lady of Guadalupe was the patroness of the unborn. She agreed to come with me to the pro-life center across the street. She was a single mother with three children, unable to pay for the medicine needed for her nausea so she could continue to work. I ordered her medicine and the baby is still alive today. Dr. M Spiritual Stem Cells Friends introduced me to FOL in October What pulled me in was the diary speaking of supernatural germs that enter our body through sin and reduce God s protections built into our bodies. I always believed that every legalized abortion reduced God s protection over our nation. I also see the FOL Movement s strategy of constantly splitting large cenacles into many little ones as a stem-cell strategy, used to fight cancer cells. I saw the FOL as a great vehicle for my pro-life efforts. The cenacles are stem cells fighting infection and giving new life. A Visit to Maryland In April, Tony Mullen and the FOL team came to Ellicott City, MD. At that time, I asked your prayers specifically for my son. Since then, tremendous graces have poured out. I can see the visible effects of the FOL. As Our Lady promised in the Diary, There will be evidence of things not seen. UNDERSTANDING THE CENACLES There are three kinds of cenacles: 1. Parish Cenacles a weekly group which meets in the parish church. 2. Official Home Cenacles a weekly group which meets in the home and has the pastor s authorization. 3 Unofficial Home Cenacle These are little groups which are just beginning. The host family does not yet know if the group will be stable enough to seek the pastor s authorization. 4 All 3 groups are encouraged. In this newsletter our publicized list includes only Parish groups. The Elements of the Cenacle Some elements are central. Each group should have a certain quality but also a diversity. The central elements are the rosary and the prayer to receive the Flame of Love. Also central is the unity prayer. An important element is quiet time. The whole hour should not be vocal prayer. Also important is a short teaching and a few moments of sharing/witnessing. Just do your best. Our Lady loves your cenacle.
8 New Initiative First Saturday and Parish Saturday Even Mass At Fatima, on July 13, 1917, Our Lady revealed the three secrets. The first spoke of the Second World War. The second spoke of the consecration of Russia and the need for a new devotion of the Five First Saturdays. These two secrets were revealed about 75 years ago. On each First Saturday, Our Lady asks us to do four things: to say a rosary, to spend 15 minutes in meditation upon a mystery of the rosary, to go to confession and to receive Holy Communion. These four actions must be done in reparation for the sins against her Immaculate Heart. On a practical note, how can someone easily fulfill these four requests? Some groups sponsor this devotion at certain chosen Churches. This is an excellent but limited opportunity. Now, due to the Saturday evening vigil mass, another means is available because all parishes have afternoon confessions before the vigil mass. Every person must begin now. On the First Saturday of the month, go to Church an hour before the vigil mass. Say your rosary. Spend 15 minutes in mental prayer. Go to confession and attend the Vigil Mass. Our Lady will bless your desire to fulfill her Fatima request. Evening Retreat Place: St. Anthony, 259 Forrest Avenue, Ambler Date: Friday, September 8, 2017 Time: 6:00 9:00 PM Special speaker For information call Lindy A Telephone Opportunity You can pray the FOL rosary live at four times each day. Just call and enter code number and pound sign. A live FOL rosary is prayed at 6:00AM, noon, 6:00PM and midnight.
