T he UBC Nursery is located downstairs in the Fellowship Hall and accepts children in ages from infant to five years old. V olunteer Opportunity - Director, 2017 Vacation Bible School (VBS). Responsible for all aspects of VBS: ordering curriculum and supplies, securing teachers/assistants, training teachers, coordinating planning meetings, recruiting and registering the children, decorating, facilitating kitchen staff and clean up crew, and the VBS ending program production. We will be studying "40 Days of Decrease" by Alicia Britt Chole which guides readers through a study of Jesus uncommon and uncomfortable call to abandon the world s illusions, embrace His kingdom s reality, and journey cross-ward and beyond. he UBC Nursery Ministry is seeking volunteers. We T need men, women, parents, and students (at least 16 years of age) to assist in caring for the babies during the worship hours. T he UBC Armor Bearer Ministry is presenting a Fellowship Bowling Outing on Sunday, August 28, 2016, from 3:00-6:00 P.M. at the Miracle Lanes in Monroeville s Jonnet Plaza. Your presence Lord! David said: I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand I shall not be moved. David isn t going anywhere without God! And neither should we! We should get our instruction from God. We need to allow God to give us our next move. We do well to receive His counsel. God is there with us in our good times, in our bad times, at all times. In the presence of God there is safety, help, peace comfort joy!!! There isn t anything or anyone who can take the place of God s presence in our lives. 8 2016 Annual Church School The Annual Church School Picnic is being held on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at the Waldameer Park and Water World in Erie, PA. Park admission is free. Ride tickets are $22 per person. Children aged 2 and under are free. Transportation to the picnic is available for $10 per person. The van is scheduled to leave at 8:30 P.M. Riders should meet at the church no later than 8:15 A.M. We are asking each family to bring a half pan of a cold side dish (e.g., deviled eggs, seafood salad, tuna salad, fruit, etc. ) drinks, or a dessert.
