5 Where will you be - Sunday, March 10th? Today is February 3rd, 2019 and probably many of you have been asked a question similar to the one above except the question is Where will you be for the Super Bowl? But just a month and a week from today Where will you be? Hoping you ll be right here, enriching your heart at St. Joseph s. On March 10th our parish, as part of our 100th Anniversary celebration, will host Mike Aquilina. Mike is an award-winning author of over 40 books on Catholic history, doctrine and devotion. Mike is a Graduate of Penn State University where he received the University s Oswald Award for Achievement in Journalism and Mass Media. Mike and his wife Terri have been married since 1985 and have six children and two grandchildren. On EWTN s Journey Home, Mike spoke of his teen and college years when he stopped practicing his faith, when his faith became just faint memory. He came back to the faith as he discovered Its overwhelming Beauty. He re-discovered Its richness, that was like a seed which had been planted in his childhood and now was coming forth to bloom. Reading one of Mike s books about the early church, I enjoyed his engaging and interesting style; how he captured the true excitement of learning: of knowing and taking into our very being the Truth of Christ and His Church. Watching some of his presentations on YouTube, you can feel his enthusiasm; how he truly cherishes the Faith as a Treasure. You can experience that first-hand on March 10th as he shares with us Joseph: His Angels and His Works, Mike will be sharing his Heart. May we share our hearts with his!
