Here are a few facts about FORMED: It is subscribed to by over 3300 parishes around the world with 450,000 registered users. 80,000 people are using the IOS/Apple & Android apps on phones and tablets. It has separate sections for Children s programs, Youth programs, and Español. It has over 3000 content items categorized as Video, Audio, Movies and e-books. An individual/family subscription costs $120/year. SJM has paid for a parish subscription so that we can each use it without cost. Father Phil asks ALL parishioners to register and start using FORMED. PLEASE REGISTER THIS WEEK! Registration is easier than ever (no more access code): 1. If you have not yet registered, go to: It will prompt you to enter your profile, including your id and your own password. You will notice a LOGIN button will appear. World Marriage Day On Saturday, February 24, 2018 Bishop Myron Cotta will preside at a special 11:00 am Mass at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in which married couples may renew their marital commitments. 6 6 Sunday, February 4, 2018 General Announcements Coming Soon to Our Weekly Bulletin: Prayer Intentions Recently, a new Prayer Intention Ministry was established at St. Joseph Marello Parish. The ministry will publish a weekly feature in the bulletin with the names of parishioners who need prayers because they are suffering from longterm/critical illnesses or other serious health issues. The names will remain on the list for one month, after which the list will be updated. This new bulletin feature will also request prayer intentions for the souls of our parishioners who have recently departed, as well as parishioners who are currently serving in the Armed Forces and are deployed abroad. If you would like to add the name of a parishioner to the list (ill, deceased, or military abroad), submit your request to the following address: prayerintentions5@gmail.com. In the case of an illness, please be sure that the individual or family has given permission to submit his/her name. You may also send an requesting that a name be removed from the list. Paul McDonnell, OSJ as Spiritual Leader Come experience a wonderful trip to special locations of Italy and the birthplace of St. Joseph Marello. Fr. Paul McDonnell will lead our pilgrimage journey on this special 10- day experience of the best of Italy. As many of you know, Fr. Paul has an encyclopedic knowledge of so many things and we are looking at being with him as he leads us all to many interesting and different locations. Fr. Paul has lived in Italy for over 5 years and has traveled to all these locations dozens of times. Most special about this trip is to experience the 150th anniversary of priestly ordination of St. Joseph Marello in his homeland.
