3 Adult Education Single Session Opportunities Boundaries Training A course to raise awareness of the physical boundaries for those working with children, youth and adults with exceptionalities. This class is required of any person in a leadership/volunteer/teaching position. A multi-state background check will be conducted before persons are able to volunteer. You will fit right in with people in this class! Explore the Augsburg Confession and discuss what they mean in contemporary society. 4 Groups Meeting Monthly Circles for Women Women s circles generally meet once per month to engage in fellowship, education, and mission. There are currently three circles, each warm and welcoming of new members. Please contact the group leader for up to date information on their group. Esther Circle Meets on the 3 rd Tuesday at 7:00 PM at different locations Leader: Margaret Freshnock, e.m.freshnock@cox.net Lydia Circle Meets on the 3 rd Tuesday at 11:30 AM at Bluestem Bistro Leader: Tricia Armstrong, triciawebster@gmail.com Naomi-Ruth Circle Meets on the 2 nd Friday at 1:30 PM in different locations Leader: Betty Samuelson, tandbsam@gmail.com Lunch Bunch Lunch Bunch is a group of retired persons who gather for lunch and fellowship once per month. All meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month. Leaders: Orville and Erma Gobber, oegobber@gmail.com Men s Breakfast Men gather once per month to engage in fellowship and mutual support. Meetings are generally the 2 nd Saturday of the month at 8:15 AM at Vista Drive Inn. This group does not meet in July or August. Leaders: Larry Erickson, lerick@k-state.edu; Darrell Denton, dddandkld@sbcglobal.net Lutheran Theology This course will look at the doctrines of the Lutheran traditions, paying close attention to the items that bind us to other Christians and those that make us unique. This course is for youth and adults and will be taught at a high school level.
