We are excited for you to be joining Robert Stearns and the Eagles Wings team in Israel during the season of the Feast of Tabernacles as we take a voyage through Israel s most prominent cities, visiting significant biblical, archeological and modern sites. You will be taking part in the international Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, broadcasted live by GOD TV. On the Watchmen on the Wall Pilgrimage you will: Worship the Lord throughout the Land and intercede at strategic locations Meet and hear from various leaders from differing sectors of society in the Land Visit and experience ancient biblical sights in their present context Learn about the past, participate in the present, and prepare for the future Our visits to biblical sites will be accompanied by teaching, reflection, worship, and prayer. Learning about the current situation in Israel where history is in the making, you will be equipped to pray for Israel's present and future from an intellectual, spiritual, and experiential understanding. We know that your heart and your life will be forever impacted and forever changed. Your prayer pilgrimage will include: Round trip airfare from a New York City area airport to Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel. The group will meet at the airport prior to departure. (Not applicable to Land Only Packages) Experienced professional Israeli guides, drivers and Eagles Wings staff. Delicious breakfast and dinner buffets daily. This price includes the full Air and Land Package. The Air Portion includes round-trip airfare from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel on El Al Airlines. 9 WATCHMEN ON THE WALL PROGRAM Did you know that when you are in Israel on the Watchmen on the Wall Pilgrimage, you are already completing one half of all that is required to be officially commissioned by both religious and Israeli governmental leaders as a Watchman on the Wall of Jerusalem? Furthermore, did you know that by reading and listening to the recommended preparation materials listed below, you will have completed the rest? Part of what we will be experiencing together as a group on the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem is the official Watchmen on the Wall Commissioning Ceremony, held in Jerusalem. The Pilgrimage participants who have done the required preparation will be commissioned by Eagles Wings, the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus, and the municipality of Jerusalem, as official Watchmen on the Walls of Jerusalem. Not only is this an amazing spiritual privilege, but it is also a tremendous spiritual authority that is being conferred upon these believers. We don t want you to miss out on being one of those commissioned Watchmen! So where to begin Eagles' Wings has developed a curriculum that provides in-depth training through a variety of resources. In order for participants to be commissioned they must complete the following 4 requirements by August 30, ) Watchmen on the Wall Manual Read through the manual, answering the Q&A s at the end of each chapter. An alternative to listening to the CD Teachings Sets is to participate in a Watchmen on the Wall Training Seminar. 3) The Third Jihad Watch this Honest Reporting documentary on Islam s influence around the world with a special focus on the United States. If a copy of Relentless or Obsession was already purchased, it will be accepted as credit for this assignment. 4) Write a brief paragraph for each of the five following questions: (This is to be submitted along with your Watchmen Manual work) 1) Write seven Biblical and Non-Biblical reasons why it is important for believers to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the Jewish people. 2) Briefly explain 2-3 media distortions and the correct facts from each situation. (Ex. Massacre at Jenin? Who killed the 12 year old Palestinian boy?) 3) Briefly explain Replacement Theology, and present at least 3 reasons why it is in error. 4) Briefly explain: a) How abrogation works in interpreting verses from the Koran, b) How Islam is a complete system rather than just a religion, c) The Dualistic Logic of Islam. 5) Briefly explain why the Israeli Settlements are NOT an obstacle to peace with the Palestinians. *The Watchmen on the Wall Seminars are designed to bring our highly-qualified instructors to your location for a day and a half of training with the most current material.
