1 PRAYER FOR OUR IW S Doyle & Dori - IM CAC Asia Pray for God s grace and empowering in Doyle & Dori s ministry. Recently, they taught Bible study methods to national leaders, and are also exploring material for marriage retreats and seminars. Pray for health and travel security as they are in the creative access category. Pray for the spiritual growth of two women (nationals) who began their walk with Christ. Pray also for the national church and unity among believers that they will have a vibrant testimony to a non-believing majority. Alan and Carol Clason IM - Paris, France Thank God for the four pastoral couples who will come to France and pastor Trinity during our year absence. Pray that God would use each of these couples and that the time here would touch their hearts for the lostness of Paris. Thank God for the five baptisms on Easter Sunday (three of them French people) and pray that God will help these new believers to grow in their new-found faith. Pray for Carol s study with ten young ladies; two of which don t know Jesus. Pray that God will call them to Himself and we could see them respond to Christ before we return to the U.S. this summer. Chad and Nikki IM/CAC - Africa Pray first for spiritual renewal. Pray for wisdom in raising our children to follow Jesus wholeheartedly. Pray for divine appointments at the youth center. We have about 180+ members between 16 and 30 years of age. Our programs are running smoothly, but we need to have times where we can share Jesus with boldness to take those opportunities. Pray the Holy Spirit would move in a mighty way at the youth center! Pray for our team as we accept a new Envision coordinator couple and set up an Envision site this fall! Pray also as we continue to fundraise for money to purchase our own land to build a youth center. May God lead us to the land He wants for us, and the land that will be a good price! Carolyn CAMA/CAC SE Asia Please pray for many openings to share Christ with my neighbors and all whom I encounter. Pray for the CAMA team and many projects as we seek to reach many for Christ. Pray for fruit from the seeds that have been are being planted.

2 Karl and Janet Emerson IM/Special Assignment - France Pray for our meeting location. We are standing-room only most Sundays and prices for a different facility are high. Pray for the gospel to take root in France. We serve in a country that is only 1% evangelical. Pray for effective communication of the gospel message in a church filled with people from around the world. Chuck & Robbi Fanberg IM Costa Rica Praise God for the prayers of so many and that we have felt the uplifting presence of our Lord because of these prayers. Please pray for complete healing for Robbie and that her health will return to normal energy levels. Pray for our team as they share about the faith we have in Jesus and please pray for interns to work with us for the next year Dale & Wanetta Groeneweg IM/Special Assignment Ecuador Praise: Dale has suffered a bit with a leak in one of the valves of his heart, and our son, Loren, has been struggling with blood clots. Both are doing much better. Pray for our seniors as the school year ends in June; especially those who have not yet accepted the Lord Jesus that we can show them the gospel which is alive and so needed in their lives. Pray also for us as we head up the farewell for the faculty and staff who are leaving at the end of this school year. Wanetta s parents are not well at all. We desire to get airline tickets to go to the USA this summer to help care for them. We also need to settle some issues as Dale s father passed away this year. Tim & Penny Iverson IM - Taiwan Praise God! We now have a Taiwanese pastor for our church plant in Yuan Chang! Please pray for pastor John Hsiao and his family for their adjustment to a new community and that our church family will welcome them with open hearts. Pray for Lily, a fifth grader and new believer. Her father forbade her to attend church. Pray that God will change her father s mind, and that Lily will be a light to her entire family. Also pray for 8 th grade twin girls whose father told them they may now only attend church one time a week. Pray about finances as we seek to reach a people group in Taiwan who are generally not high income. Pray for funds to support the pastor during the early stages of the church plant.

3 Jerry & Shelly Kragt IM Germany Praise God for good mission trips for our girls and that the medical trip Katie took to Burkina Faso confirmed what she wants to do in the future medical missions! Pray as she prepares to attend Crown College in the fall. Please pray for Jerry during this very bush season of travel. To Israel, Colorado, and then to Jordan. Pray that we will listen to Him and abide in Him through all the travel, separation and responsibility. Pray for new friends, A&N who continue to be open to letting God speak into their lives that they will hear God s voice and choose Jesus above all else. Mark & Kimberly MM/CAC Central Asia Pray for these newlyweds as they prepare to return to Central Asia to teach in the university. Pray that they will have the opportunity not only to teach, but to be a part of the young people s lives. Pray for safety, wisdom and guidance as they join the Father s plan to reach nations! Harry Landaw IM Japan Pray for Harry as he transitions in June retiring from IM Praise the Lord Harry enjoyed and felt speaking went well in the churches while on tour Pray for direction for future ministry here in the states, and praise God for the upcoming marriage of his daughter, Jill, in May. Jessica Lloyd Apprenticeship Costa Rica Pray for Jessica. She has been given the responsibility of managing the Dulce Refugio Coffee Shop in Costa Rica - she was informed a couple of months ago that she needs increased support or she will need to return to the US. As a missionary apprentice, Jessica raised her support from partners before coming to Costa Rica, but has fallen short recently. If Jessica leaves, the coffee shop will need to close. Pray that support will come in time for Jessica to stay. Pray for wisdom as they begin the process of hiring another person that the new person would have the heartbeat of the coffee shop and be able to bring people to the saving knowledge of Christ. Pray that Jessica would have the time and energy she needs to continue on with the work she needs for her consecration program.

4 Kate Manske CAMA - Cambodia God has opened a door for us in the village of O bai-joan through one of our first patients last year named Long. Through a series of tests, Dr. Kent diagnosed him with a late stage of cancer. Since about last Nov we have visited him at his home (me and 2-3 of my Cambodia co-workers). He has shown great interest in learning about God and in the last 2 visits, we have sung hymns and read Scripture. Recently we asked him if he d be interested in studying a discipleship class called Living Water. It has foundational Biblical knowledge. He agreed!!! The day we asked, several of his neighbors were around listening and stated they may come by too. I m excited to see where this leads...as there is no church group or fellowship currently held in this village. I m excited to see where this goes--pray for us as a team, for wisdom and guidance, that we will listen to God s voice, and that God will stir within the hearts of those in the village to come and hear. Pray for Davan, a new member to our home visit team from the local Poipet C&MA church. He is a deacon at our church and we think his presence on our team will help create a direct connect for our patients to our church. Please continue to pray for our youth and the leadership development here as we prepare to exit in Dwight & Mary Kay Martin MM Thailand Pray that the Lord will provide facilities that will enable CrossTies Asia to continue to grow its ministry efforts Pray that many Thais from Chiang Mai would be burdened to reach out to the rest of the nation. Praise God for Angkana, listened to God s voice and is making plans to go to Udon Thani and serve as a missionary. Pray as we try to develop a closer relationship with Korean churches and pray for the Thailand Evangelism & Church Growth Committee (TEC) that they will get to know each other better as they represent all Protestant groups in Chiang Mai. Grant & Gretchen MM CAC/SE Asia Pray as we go to a different university when we return this fall that we get settled quickly, with a good understanding of what the Father is doing there and how He wants us to be a part of that. We ve been meeting weekly with a group of 200 students and recent grads. Please pray for wisdom and strength for those giving leadership and for more people to step into those roles. We ve been asked to expand our organization into another part of the world where those with our worldview are unwelcome. Pray for open doors to enter those countries and for wisdom as we work with our graduates to prepare them to go to places where their passports are more welcome than ours Chris & Jamie O Dell Taipei, Taiwan Pray that God will keep us safe amidst the political chaos and for the safety of everyone impacted by the demonstrations. Pray for peace for Taiwan and wisdom and clarity for those who do have power to make decisions for this nation.

5 Pray for the opportunity to stream Veil of Tears, which is an eye-opening video about the mistreatment of women in India, and how God is bringing them hope. Mike & Elissa Picconatto IM Germany Praise God I passed my language test. I can now focus on practical-communication- German! Praise God our kids are making friends and playing with other kids in German! Pray as we begin to invest in Berlin Urban Ministry Project. We have been getting the building ready for Freischwimmer and other ministry needs as we explore how we can make a greater impact here! Pray that the Lord will provide funding as we get the building set up and pay the monthly bills we really feel that God is leading our team to make this step in Berlin. Don & Lynne MM/CAC - Asia Please pray for a local community school of the Arts for wisdom as we work with our local partner. Please pray for several of our parents as they continue to ask questions regarding our faith. Pray for financial sustainability as we seek to build a model that can be duplicated. Kirk & Calah CAMA/CAC SE Asia Pray for unity and vision for our team as we have added two new staff and will add another family next month. Pray for health we ve experienced colds, stomach flu and other odd sicknesses since returning. Pray for wisdom as we look ahead at this year. We ll be doing a Strategic Field Review in August to look at where we have been, where we are, and where we are going as a field. Pray that God confirms His call on our lives and the direction we need to go Karl & Jacki Steinkamp IM/Special Assignment Malaysia Pray for a speedy completion of paperwork by the land owners to finalize a new 30-year lease agreement that will secure the school location. Once complete, we can begin construction of new facilities, including a three-story dormitory, new library with special services and guidance offices, and a new chapel, performing arts center and dining hall. Pray for our family as we will be entering a new phase of life next year with our oldest, Josiah, going off to college hoping to study nursing in the Twin Cities area to study nursing. His heart s desire is to go back overseas and work with people who have little access to medical care. Please continue to pray for Dalat International School as we welcome over 550 students from 25 different countries and a variety of faiths. Each semester we see changed lives and our prayer is that

6 the school will remain a place of strong spiritual formation as students come and go, dispersed all over the globe. Trent & Sharon IW/CAC N. Cen. Asia Pray for health and safety for Trent and Sharon as they begin their travels. Pray for the sale of their home in St. Bonifacius, MN. Pray for wisdom and guidance as Trent and Sharon begin their new work in Central Asia. Karissa Wallace Apprenticeship - Germany Praise God for my time in Germany and for the new chapter ahead of me as I look forward to my wedding. I am leaving with the confidence that God is going to continue to provide and open doors for Kenny and me to return overseas to serve Him in the future. Pray for my C&MA teammates as they stay in Germany and minister to the people in their lives. May God bring other believers into the lives of those who have yet to enter into a relationship with Jesus! Pray that God will provide a job that would allow me to still minister on some level in the community. Brad & Dorothy Wood IM Dominican Republic Pray for Brad and Dorothy as they prepare to return to the Dominican Republic in July. They will be ministering in Punta Cana joining the team of Alianza Church as they welcome a pastor from Puerto Rico. Pray for them as they finish up at Toccoa Falls College in Georgia. Their prayer is that they finish well. Pray for upcoming ministry opportunities at C&MA churches. Steve & Deborah Zopfi IM Mexico Pray for Steve for the training ministry for about fifteen Mexican pastors in Chiapas. Pray as Steve and John Howard visit churches in remote areas. They need wisdom as pastors seek counsel with difficult church situations. Pray that all who attend the seminars do the coursework and understand the concepts being presented on the Holy Spirit.
