Assisting Ministers: Perri Martin and Don Burlock We welcome Andrew Bailey, Cellist, 11, as our guest musician today. Andrew was the first place recipient of the 2015 Venice Musicale Music competition and Thelma Cohn Scholarship. This summer, Andrew attended University of Tampa chamber music camp on scholarship. He also traveled to Lake Placid, New York for a solo camp study with his teacher, Dr. Ann Alton. Andrew currently participates in Sarasota Music Conservatory s chamber music program and Venice Symphony Youth Quartet program. Andrew is currently a sixth grader in A Beka Academy accredited correspondence school with a 95% overall average. Williamson Scholarship Fund The Williamson Scholarship Fund was begun in 2014 as a memorial to Pastor Gale and in honor of Laura Williamson. Pastor Gale and Laura devoted many years to drama and musical arts. In September, 2014 a committee was formed to administer scholarships and grants through an application process. We thank all those who have given to the fund. Through your generosity we hope to continue enriching the lives of those who excel in music and drama. Thank you for your continued support. 3

This is how we keep our cost down. 50,000 Cans for Christmas, Give the Gift of Food to Those in Need Englewood Helping Hand, Inc. would like to collect 50,000 cans this holiday season. These cans will enable us to provide over 40,000 meals to hungry Englewood residents, which have been given out in the last 4 months. All of the food donated to Englewood Helping Hand, Inc. stays in our community. The carillon is a wonderful addition to our church property and will play beautiful hymns Monday - Friday at noon, 6pm and in between all Sunday Worship Services. This year we have added an Earth Gift Basket to our list of pay it forward gift choices. A hive of bees and seedlings of trees are included in this earth-friendly package. The benefits from the bees are twofold. The wax and honey they provide can be sold at market for extra income, and their pollination can create more and better fruits and vegetables. As the tree seedling grows, their roots prevent soil erosion and create shade for animals. Mother Nature would certainly appreciate this thoughtful gift. Fun Bunch We are going to the Venice Boat Parade this year! It will be on Saturday, December 5th. We will be leaving the church parking lot at approximately 6:30pm. We have 54 seats, come to Fellowship Hall to make your reservation. They must be paid for at the time of your reservation. Now is the time to sign up for the January to May, 2016 Breaking Bread Together groups. These are small groups who will get together to share a meal during the months of January to May. 10 Next week we will be taking our Fifth Sunday Offering. Normally, this offering is given to the Children s Home. This year, because we have already exceeded our goal to the Children s Home, we will be collecting for our Preschool. 96 children now have the opportunity to hear about God and His love 5 days a week because of the help this church will provide next week and all that you do throughout the year.
