3 BEDFORD Adult Faith Formation Join us for our Lenten Series: The Passion and Resurrection Narratives of Jesus This study compares the particular insights found in the passion and resurrection accounts of the four gospels. The core of our faith incorporates both the pain of the cross and the hope of the resurrection into daily living. Father David and members of the St. Elizabeth's community travelled to the March for Life in DC and joined hundreds of thousands of Americans to stand up for the dignity of all human life and pray for an end to abortion. The pilgrimage was a great success! It was an inspiring and prayerful experience as people of many faiths assembled on the National Mall and peacefully marched to the United States Supreme Court. Many celebrities and political leaders came to show their support. As an extra bonus, God blessed us with a beautiful day of sunny weather! Some impromptu karaoke sessions also broke out on the bus! The FAST will take place on Saturday, March 24, 2018, starting at 8:00 a.m. through 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Seton Parish. In solidarity with those who hunger, we will FAST NO solid food for 24 hours. The theme of this year s retreat is Love is the Evidence. During the FAST, we will partner with Catholic Relief Services to host the Helping Hands Project at our parish. We will all work together to package 10,000 meals for those who suffer from chronic hunger in the African na on of Burkina Faso. There will also be opportunity for reflec on and prayer to deepen our rela onships with God and each other. And, of course, there will be lots of fun! Registra on is now open!
