4 LUNCHES FOR VISITORS There will be sack lunches available for our OUT-OF-TOWN VISITORS ONLY at the table to the right of the sanctuary immediately following our worship service today. Next week will be a haystack lunch for all members and visitors. Members are asked to contribute related food items. See Daisy Mackey if you have questions. BIBLE STUDIES Elder Larry Pedrodalasol is giving the Storacle Bible studies each Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Elder Ron Mackey has a study of the Desire of Ages each Friday at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Neri has his Storacle Bible study this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. P/A STAFF TRAINING CONFERENCE The Conference training for the Pathfinder/Adventurer leaders which began last evening will continue this afternoon from 2:00-5:00 p.m. VESPERS There will be Vespers this evening at 6:00 p.m. Pictures of Pastor Julio s wedding will be shown. PRAYER MEETING Our Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday, August 12, at 7:00 p.m. Chapter 35 of Ezekiel will be discussed. MEMORIAL SERVICE For those who remember her, there will be a memorial service for Gloria Sexton on Monday, August 10, at the Affordable Funeral Home, 2457 N. Decatur. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., the funeral is at 12:00 p.m., followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern, at the Resurrection Garden. In July the total received was only $2,944, and we have been short for several months! SONSHINE SINGERS Are you looking to be blessed Sabbath afternoons? Of course this comes by blessing others. Come join the Sonshine Singers the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sabbath each month for an hour of singing and fellowship with residents and staff at Adult Care Centers in the area. You will be blessed by the smiles and gratitude expressed by those we sing to. You don t even have to sing well.
