6 Luke 2:1-7 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. And everyone went to his own town to register. So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. 13 More Announcements AGAPÉ FEAST/ COMMUNION: We will have our annual New Years Eve Agapé Feast and Communion on Friday, December 31 at 4:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room. This most special time of forgiveness and renewal will be a very sacred occasion that we hope all of you will be able to attend. When you come, please bring whole fruit and bread to share. HAVE YOU SEEN the new picture hung in the Narthex which was donated by Dan & Jodi Shavlik? They were able to get more of the same poster and are available in the Narthex. LIBERTY EXPRESS journal, edited by Greg W. Hamilton, is the annual flagship of the Northwest Religious Liberty Association and the Public Affairs and Religious Liberty department of the North Pacific Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. If you are interested in this magazine and did not get a sample copy yet, you may sign up in the Narthex or visit for information. Issues include topics of current events/prophecy and constitutional trends. EVERY YEAR, the Santa Rosa Church provides a Christmas dinner for the local homeless. You can be a part of making their day special without even leaving Napa County. In the Narthex, there will be a box for you to put warm hats and gloves as gifts for the homeless. If you have any questions, please call Sheri Predmore at Sheri is hoping for 50 hats and 50 pair of gloves. New ones would be extra special! WORTHY STUDENT FUND: As you can see by the graph on the back of this bulletin, the Worthy Student fund is not keeping up with the need. If you have made a pledge to the Worthy Student fund, please remember to fulfil this pledge each month. That is the ONLY way we will be able to help our worthy students stay in one of our schools. ~ 13 ~

If you are and have not received your membership directory, please ask for one at the Ministries Window in the Narthex. KEYS: Many of you have keys to the Church, or one or more if its rooms, and no longer need them. If this is the case, please return them to the Church Office. This will save the Church money by not having to make more keys for those who currently need them. On Christmas, so soon to come, let not the parents take the position that an evergreen placed in the church for the amusement of the Sabbath-school scholars is a sin; for it may be made a great blessing.... Let the gifts you have usually bestowed upon one another be placed in the Lord's treasury.... In every church let your smaller offerings be placed upon your Christmas tree. Let the precious emblem, ever green, suggest AS THE END OF 2004 APPROACHES, we want to thank you for your faithful giving throughout the year. Remember that tithes and offerings must be turned in to the Church Office or postmarked by December 31 in order to be included on your receipt for the year Please try to turn in your final contribution on Sabbath, December 25.
