The youth ministry meets for Bible study on Friday evenings at 7pm at the church. College Life will be having its regular Friday night Bible study at the church at 7pm. Bring your Bible as we study Jesus life in the Gospel of John and fellowship afterwards! Dinner is served at 6:30pm and Bible study begins at around 7:15pm. Come out for a great time of worship, fellowship, and teaching! Our ministry for married couples and parents meets this Thursday at 6:30pm in Room 107. We are currently walking through a Marriage Checkup series using Wayne Mack s Preparing for Marriage God s Way as a tool. 3 children s ministries lighthouse kids club. LKC, our midweek Bible study for children 4 years old and older, meets on Thursdays from 6:30-8pm. This year s theme is Word Warriors and will be focusing on Scripture memorization! Contact Josh Liu for any questions (liu. joshuac@gmail.com). children s sunday school. In order to provide our children an opportunity to hear God s Word in a way that is particularly geared towards them, the children will be dismissed to Sunday School classes after the singing time during this morning s worship service. If you would like to participate in this year s trip to the Czech Republic, please contact Pastor Patrick for an application. The tentative dates for the trip are June 30-July 21. If you are interested in helping, please contact Wen Zou (wenpengzou@gmail.com). babysitting ministry. As part of our Care Ministry, we provide complimentary babysitting for our members. LBC partners with South Bay Community Church in National City to host a children s program that includes tutoring, Bible teaching, and games for the children in the neighborhood. Our Peacemaker Club meets on Mondays from 5-7pm. God has been gracious and more children have been coming this year, so we would be thankful for more helpers, especially during out tutoring time (5-6pm). The convalescent home ministry is an evangelistic outreach to the elderly and disabled that meets on Tuesday nights at 6:45pm at Mission Hills Health Care Center in Hillcrest. LBC partners with Pacific Beach Presbyterian Church every Sunday from 3-6:30pm to help feed the homeless and needy. We help prepare and serve the food, and clean the kitchen. Pray for our leaders that they would gain wisdom to lead and humbly serve God through their responsibilities at the church. Pray that our pastor would continually faithfully preach the Word of God. Pray for Josh Liu, our seminary student, as he commutes up and down to school each week. Pray for the college ministry that the students would serve as a bright shining testimony to the campuses around San Diego. Pray that they would be diligent in their studies and in their walks with God. Pray for the single adults ministry that they would continue to shine the light of Christ in the workplace and make the most of every opportunity to represent Christ. Pray for the LBC Grace Life family ministry. Pray that God would build strong spiritual marriages and use our parents to raise up the next generation in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Pray for the youth and children. Pray that their lives would be guided by the principles of God s Word and that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
