CCD Class #27 will be held on Monday, April 16 at 6:00 p.m. Two classes left until the end of the CCD year! 2. First Communicants- Bring your decorated pew banners and $5 if you did not pay for your chalice to the retreat on Saturday, April 21. See you and a parent at 9:00 a.m. 3. Next Monday, April 23 is the CCD Testing Day for the end of the school year. Attendance is important. 4. First Communicants will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Monday, April 23 in preparation for receiving Holy Communion. FIRST EUCHARIST MASS The First Eucharist Mass for St. Charles Borromeo Parish children receiving the Sacrament for the first time will be held on Saturday, April 28 at 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Due to this special ceremony, 8:15 a.m. Mass and Rosary will be cancelled for Saturday, April 28. 4 BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN The Respect Life Ministry is pleased to report that the parishioners of St. Charles Borromeo donated $5,407 to the Women's New Life Center during the recent Baby Bottle campaign. The staff at WNLC were overwhelmed with your tremendous generosity and stated that very few parishes reach the $5,000 mark. Thanks to all who contributed to the success of this campaign. You are in their prayers. THANKS The Church Cleaning Ministry & Decorating Ministry for our parish would like to thank everyone who helped clean & decorate our Church & gym for the Easter liturgies. Again this year, our Lord had to be pleased with your generous giving of your time & talent. At the Easter Vigil, Barney Gerberg was baptized. Jenna Adcock, Joshua Adcock, Leah Morgan Frey and Melissa Schexnaydre were received into Full Communion. Amie Fitzgerald Cannon, Cole Casey and Laura Davila received First Eucharist. In addition, several other members will be confirmed at St. Louis Cathedral on Pentecost Sunday, May 20, We are especially thankful to our RCIA Team for their leadership and guidance and to the sponsors who have mentored and supported our new members. ADORATION CHAPEL Our Adoration Chapel is in need of an adorer for 7 am on Monday morning, 12 noon on Wednesday afternoon, and substitutes from 12 am 6 am.
