The purpose of this ministry is to help families lift themselves from hunger and poverty using small scale agriculture and livestock projects. From the beginning, Heifer project partners have been required to pass on their gift animals offspring or the equivalent in training and other resources to others in need. Through this practice, the gift of one animal becomes the gift of many, and a chain of giving set into motion that can improve the lives of entire communities. Heifer projects also return self-esteem and self-sufficiency to individuals and communities they live in. Please consider a donation to this month s feature in your giving envelopes and make sure to mark it Heifer Project. -Mission Committee Heifer International Trinity UMW will be celebrating the150th birthday of UMW next Wednesday, April 10th, at 1:00 pm. The program Prayer and Self Denial, is very fitting for the period of Lent and will be led by Becky Binkley. 5 Spring Trinity Saturday, April 13 th 9AM-Noon Please join us for a workday at church to get our church property tidied up for Easter. We have been without a janitor since December and have relied heavily on our Trustees to volunteer cleaning the building. Let s help them get some intense cleaning done as we take pride in our facility. Easter Plant Sale Order a lily, hyacinth, daffodil or tulip plant to help decorate our facilities for Easter. These lovely plants can be purchased through the Church for $12.50 each. If you would like to order a plant, please fill out this order form along with a "SEPARATE" check made out to Trinity United Methodist Church. The plants may be picked up following the Easter Sunday 9 AM service. Any plants remaining at the Church after Saturday, will be given away.
