I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. My family comes from Puerto Rico, and I am a third generation. I have served the church since I was just a child singing worship songs with my dad in the church choir. Throughout the years I have learned the true meaning of service through different movements like John XXIII, Charismatic Renewal and Ignatian Spirituality. I am very blessed to have found a church like Holy Ghost that helps the community in a wonderful positive way. I hope I am able to continue my service in peace and understanding. The Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles are having an annual Come and See Retreat beginning Friday, November 6, The location will be at Sts. Peter and Paul Convent in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. This weekend retreat is for single women, between the ages of 18 to 35, who would like to take some time to seriously discern if God may be calling them to Religious life.
